Very poor experience, cashier "Shelby" was not only rude and unprofessional, she dropped a picture I couldn't fit inside my car onto my foot splitting my pinkie toe open, I actually had to go home before completing the rest of my errands. Not only did she fail to apologize, rolled her eyes and slammed the items I passed on in the basket, didn't even ask if I was ok after looking over the counter and seeing my foot starting to bleed. Will not be back, the girl with long black hair who was with her at the line was also very rude and unprofessional and encouraged the poor behavior by matching it, offered no assistance with my several bags (6 months pregnant) she also chimed in with rude banter and intentionally spoke to the customer behind me as if it was her turn before I even paid making it uncomfortable and awkward as I was needing to ask the cashier for a bandaid. Employees like these make a store look poorly managed, and cost you my business. Hopefully for the business sake these girls will be let go before they hurt and offend more customers, especially after injuring a customer to the extent of bleeding a lot, I did them a favor by leaving and handling this myself, you might not get someone so generous next time. A $500+ purchase turned into $75 because of how inappropriate they behaved when I politely asked for a price check on some items that had been misplaced in the store. They discouraged checking prices after 2 items, and made me feel like I was wasting the time even asking, they could rub someone the wrong way and make someone else feel like they are questioning if they could afford the items. I immediately left, and took my business to Michael's and spent the $500+ there and had a way better experience. Manager called and informed, this is to warn anyone who might go in. Corporate was emailed along with pictures of my injured toe and the large painting made out of wood slates that she dropped on it. The only words she spoke to me? "Yep." When I asked if her name was on the receipt. Even during price checking she wouldn't make eye contact and didn't answer me she read the items off low and facing the customer next in line half of the time, the other half laughing with the other lady with black hair who served no purpose beyond making jokes between the two of them and laughing when I got injured. I can not emphasize enough how absolutely absurd my experience was, and I will ensure a case is opened with corporate. No one else should have to experience what I did. I was already frustrated being as pregnant as I was and getting injured and laughed at. Corporate will be contacted this next week via phone and I will be sure to post any responses I get to my email....
Read moreEverybody loves hobby lobby. The staff is typically kind and the store is full of fun stuff. But, I honestly cannot bring myself to go into this one any longer. A couple days after losing my father, I had to run an errand for his final arrangements. I was just having a rough time so I thought I’d walk around Hobby Lobby for a few minutes with my three little ones. It was almost empty (earlier on a weekday) and there was an older woman working in the aisles. She chastised me about bringing children into hobby lobby and made several rude comments to me about how awful kids are. Luckily, my little ones did not hear her rant as they were walking toward their father (farther down the sidle). I was mortified and this event is all I ever think about when I think of hobby lobby now. I’ve even systematically removed a lot of the decor I’ve bought there from my home over the last few months. I’m not usually the kind to keep quiet and I would have certainly educated that worker on basic courtesy had it not been such a rough day. I was just speechless. I’ve heard from other moms that some of the workers are less than kind, which is really a shame. You’d think hobby lobby would be much more...
Read moreI was really disappointed. The waitress was extremely rude. She started to take our order but in the midfle of taking out order like right in the middle she said she would be right back and never came back. I finally went to the hostess and told her what happened and that we wanted a different waitress instead. The manager came to talk to us to to see what happened and when i told her the waitress finally came back and said she was coming back. But i told her no...you never came back. She said she got busy and was sorry. Yeah right. If i wouldn't have said something me and my husband were anout to walk out. The manager apologized and asked if we wanted either a free appetizer or dessert for our in convience. We did get another server necause i requested a different server. And she was a lot better. And i did get a free dessert to go. But I won't be returning to this Outback restaurant any time soon. I felt...
