Had an appointment for my AirPods at 11:20 for which I arrived 5 minutes early. There was a woman ahead of me in line. A Geek Squad employee came up and asked the woman ahead of me if she had an appointment, she did not, but they decided to help her anyway, taking her in my appointment slot. You call the local geek squad, you get forwarded to a call center where you can't understand the person on the phone, then they tell you they could do something, then tell you a price for it, then tell you they're not authorized to do that work, then tell you that on second thought they can't do it, and then send you to a authorized repair shop anyhow.
