Absolutely disgusted with the service I received this evening. After my order was placed online, I was called by them and told they would not deliver to me. I live 3 blocks away from this store. They claimed that my neighborhood is not safe after dark. It was still light outside.
After the person I spoke to on the phone openly offered to let me speak to their manager (which is not endearing, b the way, it only shows you either lack faith in your own ability to handle the interaction or that you just can't be bothered to take care of it yourself), they finally assented to adjust the order to a carryout. My roommate went in 15 minutes later (the timeframe they cited over the phone for the order to be completed), where they then proceeded to ignore his existence for a lengthy period of time, even going so far as to serve other patrons who came in after he did before acknowledging he was there.
When they finally realized he was there (He's 6'2", 280 lbs, so he's not easy to miss), they explained that the order still was not ready. When they went to finish the order, it was realized that they had screwed up one of the pizzas (left off spinach). Instead of remaking the pizza to properly cook the spinach, they simply dumped a pile of it onto the finished pizza and sent it out the door.
I find their lack of a customer-focused attitude not only distasteful, but downright insulting. I work in food service, and even on my worst days I do everything in my power to make sure that regardless of whether my customer had that magical experience, they at least got the quality product they came in to purchase. If something was messed up, I do everything I can within reason to fix it, and remaking an order is among the first lines of defense in my arsenal.
I will not be purchasing from this, or any other, Pizza Hut location until such time as they make definitive and observable changes in the manner they conduct their business. It is interactions like these that tarnish the hard work people like myself do to give food service workers a...
   Read moreDo not order from this place. We placed a delivery order. They sent us half the food and the other half was wrong. They sent us a sausage pizza instead of pepperoni, mushrooms and jalapeño. They almost got the other pizza right, they just added extra toppings we didn't want. So I call the store and want it fixed. One of the managers tells me he personally cut the pizza and it was correct. They then inform me that I have to deliver the pizza back to them for anything to happen. Excuse me? I ordered delivery for a reason. Eventually after some harsh words we end up texting a picture to the other manager of the wrong items.
They agree to a refund but for store credit. Well I will never order pizza hut again so store credit does me no good. They say the general manager is the only one who can refund the purchase, they can only do store credit. I try for weeks to get ahold of "Christian" and am unsuccessful until I contact pizza hut directly. Then I finally get a voicemail and email from "Christian" stating that he has tried to refund my purchase but has not been able to get my credit card company to accept it and try calling him again.    Read moreWe placed a $78 delivery order. We were told there was a 70 minute wait. An hour and a half later, we called and Shameika (the manager) found our order but said the food had not been made and she couldn't pull up a ticket. She offered no solution at all. We asked what our options were three times, because she simply didnt reply... She eventually said she found our ticket, but couldn't pull anything up with our phone number finally said she would just void our card. I dont believe she was sober, knew how to do her job, had any people skills, or concept of a transaction in a business setting. She simply answered the phone, and couldn't do anything to help. So she just stayed on the line, and played dumb? We are at this point concerned our card information was written down by someone who didn't even work there. I intend to call the day manager tomorrow.
Thanks for making my family wait an hour and a half for a meal that was charged, and not made, with staff that are unbelievably incompetent, and rude.
Now I have to call the bank, to see if she managed to void the charge. AND figure something out for dinner at 9...
