About a month ago during breakfast, I had a bad experience in the drive-thru with a particular employee. I have frequented this particular location for several years and she has provided mediocre service ever since she started. In fact, I remember when she did. She would constantly forget my beverage, I wouldn't get my entire order or utensils, straws, what have you. I never complained. I would point it out and try to be patient. I simply have become accustomed to poor service, like everywhere in America. She also seemed high strung, so I let it go. This particular morning though, she was downright disrespectful in how and what she spoke. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, however, she was completely in the wrong that morning. They were not busy. I was the only one in line. I contacted the store immediately, the manager was apologetic and I was given a free meal voucher. The next time I visited, she would not speak to me when waiting on me. NOTHING. She was angry that she had been reprimanded. 3rd time, she was super friendly UNTIL she looked and noticed it was me...then she was rude, wouldn't even look in my direction when serving me my food, practically shoving it at me. Nor did she speak...so I called back and complained a 2nd time. Mind you, this woman is in her 30s! I explained that this was no way to start my day and I felt as if I was made to feel I had done something wrong, even though I extremely polite AND this wasn't middle school. I have experience in retail over the years and have been in a professional environment for the rest, so I can understand how difficult people can be. The manager seemed sympathetic. Said she would speak to her and give her the option to not wait on me... Wait...What? Why? Accountability? Today....last day. I will NEVER go back. This time she did not wait on me...her choice, I guess. However, when preparing my beverage, I could hear and see her through the window speaking negatively about me (mask wasn't on either). I have only done this once before, but I felt like I needed to comment/post on how I was treated. She CHOSE this industry to work in. Everyone has bad days. I have. HOWEVER, this behavior is humiliating and WRONG. Obviously, it was brought to her attention, but NOT enforced. I refuse to start off my work day by someone so insecure and petty that they resort to such behavior...and are getting by with it. This is the problem with our society. If someone is held accountable for inappropriate...BAD behavior, they in turn, use a victim mentality, go on the defensive and justify their attitude. No one cares anymore. There is no incentive to be kind. It is all about themselves. It's pathetic and I REFUSE to spend my money, REMEMBER PANERA IS NOT CHEAP, and be treated rudely because I had the audacity to be aggravated by someone LITERALLY snapping at me BECAUSE low and behold....my order wasn't correct...twice in the same order AND I simply wanted what I paid for. How...
Read moreDear General Manager,
I work for a company that spend thousands of dollars with this location every year, not to mention the people we know that come here. During the last part of September and early October I have been buying take out for large groups. I don't have alot of time to write reviews but thought I'd let you know what I (the customer) am seeing.
Tips to improve your store.
Have a meeting with your employees ASAP. I came in the other day to pick up an order and watched a woman eat various toppings from the bar WHILE making sandwiches! Gross. She would look at the screen, work on someones sandwich, bring her hand up to her mouth and pop in a topping and start munching while making meals. Then this same woman leaned in over the dressing to reach in the back of the bar for something and her bare arms and body were rubbing all over the dressings spouts and other topping bins. This employee is there every time i go there. She is a larger woman. Meanwhile, another employee who was placing the food on the counter and collect the red blinking things from customers, tell the girl behind her "I have to PEE!" Wow... So I'm watching one employee stuff her face and have a convo with the other about how she needs to use the restroom. UHHH this doesn't make me want to eat here.
Also your drive thru speaker has junk all over it that could be removed in 5 mins with some goo gone. Your outside menu and order window are dirty.
With just a little better management you could...
Read moreOne of the worst Panera experiences I’ve ever had. First I pulled to the drive through where the worker asked me to hold on for one minute. 12 minutes later I pulled around and went inside there I counted 8 people working and only 3 other customers inside. I ordered a full Cesar salad and received about half of a salad where the lettuce was more brown than green and only filled up about half the container. There was enough sprinkled cheese on it, but no croutons. The threw the dressing containers on the inside of the plastic (gross considering I watched Jason wipe his nose 3 separate times and then touch my food). I also ordered a bowl of cream of chicken and wild rice soup and what I got was a buttery water base with 3 carrots and about 2 spoonfuls of rice. I also ordered the baguettes and was told they didn’t have them. When I asked if I could get a bread bowl amazingly someone pulled about a 3 inch baguette out and threw a bag of chips in with it. I return the chips and said I didn’t order chips, but if there was no bread left I would take an apple. I got a rolling of the eyes and an apple about the size of a prune thrown at me. I get that I came I 1 hours before closing, but if you don’t have the food then state you don’t have it. And if you don’t like your job get a new one. I’ll never go back here again and it will be a long time before I return to a Panera. I should have...
