I ordered pants online, and according to the maurices website can return in store or via mail. I took the pants to the store with my confirmation email. The csa said she had to get the manager because she couldn’t return anything that was paid for via PayPal. The store manager refused to refund me my actual money. Said something about it had to be processed through a warehouse. After sitting on the phone with corporate who didn’t understand why the manager would not refund my money and the manager not being able to assist with sending the pants back I took a gift card. I know that a refund can be made on a PayPal order because I’ve done it before. The manager just did not want to give me my money back and made a comment about people being able to steal credit cards on PayPal. Was this woman accusing me of being a thief?. All tags were on them they were never worn. Not to mention I had a hyper toddler with me screaming and running around. When the store in the Greentree Mall, Clarksville, Indiana first opened, it was wonderful to have a sales person come out from behind the counter without being on their phone and greet me like a person of value. They used to help me by walking around with me helping find items in my size. But today? I walked there were two young women behind the counter flirting with the UPS man. Paid me no mind what-so-ever! I think having older people working in this store would be wonderful. Different ages shopping in a store for different ages, being helped by people of different ages. Ive spent thpusands over several years here. Store is great. Do not get the credit card. Fees are crazy, low balance given and comenity they use for the credit entity will make it impossible to close your account and then keep charging you fees. Today was the third time someone told me they would close my acct. They wont assure you the call is recorded, give a call ref # or anything but their first name. Very disappointed and might choose not to shop with them out of principal. Ive had clothing itema that were poor quality, had siruches missing in seems and fell apart...
