An Unexpected Gem in Clovis â Kohinoor Indian Bazaar!
I had an amazing experience at Kohinoor Indian Bazaar, and I truly believe this place deserves more love and support. The owner is one of the most genuine and honest people Iâve come acrossâhe explains pricing transparently and truly cares about his customers.
Since opening their kitchen in February 2025, the food has been a total game-changer! Cooked with desi ghee tadka and no unhealthy oils, every dish feels like home-cooked comfort with authentic flavor. Just last week, they started dining and buffet service, and I couldnât believe I got to enjoy such a delicious variety of items for just $15!
Honestly, I was hesitant at first because of a few negative reviews, but I reminded myselfâonly two kinds of people usually write reviews: those who are really happy or those who are upset. Unfortunately, unhappy reviewers often donât share the full story. For example, trying to return unopened items after two months, even with a receipt, is just not fairâthis is a small business, not a big-box store like Costco or Walmart.
We need to stop judging small businesses so harshly and start supporting them more. Being rude to staff or the owner says more about the customer than the business itself. The heart and effort behind Kohinoor is clear, and Iâm so glad I listened to my instinct instead of online noise.
Highly recommended. Support local. Support...

If we order food from them or buy some groceries and we find something wrong in it and we tell them, then instead of solving it they start blaming us. They defend themselves that no, it was like this, so if their nature remains like this then we will stop buying from here and I will tell the same to my friends. Whoever shops from them should say that there are other Indian grocery stores instead of buying from them. because we buy goods for money and not for free, so the customer deserves...
Read moreKohinoor Indian Bazaar â I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This is hands down the cleanest Indian grocery store Iâve seen in the Fresno-Clovis area. The owner is incredibly kind and professional. I had a chance to chat with him about his vision, and it was clearâheâs committed to offering the best experience in both grocery shopping and food quality.
This is a small, growing business. Theyâre new and working hard every day to serve the community. Remember, you canât compare them to stores that have been around for 15â20 years. They deserve support, patience, and a real chance to thrive. Give them a visitâyouâll see...
