Today I went to Tandoori Pizza for the 3rd time and decided to finally make a review. This time I brought my mom and my sister to try it for their first time.
We ordered an XL Half and Half Pizza which included one half Butter Chicken and the other half Tika Masala.
i love that they give you the options especially with these specialty pizza types, allowing me to try many different options, I always try and grab something new each time I come here.
The pizza itself got loving reviews from my family, they loved the flavor and amount of toppings on the pizza. It had a good amount of heat to it where I was panting after the first few bites.
I took this one to go today but when I do normally go I like to sit down and eat in. When I dine in with my friends you receive a big 'ol bottle of Ranch, which I was surprised with considering most other places like up charging for a small container of ranch.
The inside of the shop is also really nice, modern and sleek. The place looks amazingly clean and they have giant tv's for sports and whatever else is on. When I went last time they were showing the Super Bowl, which means you can always catch a game with your friends here.
They have a nice selection of appetizers and drinks available too if you are dining in, which I fully recommend you trying out.
The prices may put you off a little bit, but I compare it to Me n Ed's Pizzeria, with Tandoori having it beat on the amount of toppings and quality of their dough. I fully think it's worth the amount they ask for and I believe you will too.
All in all, I fully recommend trying this place out. It offers extraordinary flavors and spices that enhance the pizza experience. The heat just adds to...
Read more05/2025 Edit: I don't know what happened. I hope the owner/manager sees this. We've bought the lamb pizza at least 15x since they've opened. It's usually delicious and topped with super tasty little lamb kebabs. The quality of the lamb pizza we received this time was just disappointing. The lamb kebabs are mushy. Our guest and family all spit it out because it had the texture of dog food. It's as if they put almost zero ground lamb and just used lamb fat to flavor a bunch of beans or fillers. We had to get something else for dinner. At almost $40, that's just annoying. Especially since it's always been great. I really hope this was just a fluke.
Original review:
You must try their lamb pizza and achari wings! These are the top two items on their menu. So full of flavor. The lamb pizza is so juicy and savory. Goes perfectly with a side of marinated achari wings with dipping sauces made in house. Service is exceptional and the facility is clean and spacious. Mango lassi needs work, not enough mango, and not...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place. There are a couple of other Indian inspired pizza places in the area that I enjoy, so when one was built closer I was excited. When I say this place blew my expectations out of the water, it does not begin to describe how amazing this visit was. The moment we walked in Rocky greeted us and walked us through the different items on the menu, describing how each was prepared with different and fresh ingredients. When the pizzas were brought out—we ordered split pizzas with butter chicken, malai chicken, curry chicken, and tandoori chicken— we dove in to what we would realize is the BEST pizza we had ever eaten.
If I’m being honest, 5 stars isn’t enough. I don’t see a reason to ever go to any other pizza place ever again. We also tried their pepperoni pizza, and it was out of this world. If you ever want to enjoy pizza from anywhere else, maybe this isn’t for you, but if you want the best pizza, service, and environment you can find in Clovis/Fresno, come to Tandoori Pizza and have...
