Kohl's — Local services in College Station

Very messy store. There were workers around but none seemed to worry about the state of their merchandise. I do like the clothes they carry and offer good specials but I'm finding it difficult to find stuff in there due to the disarray. When they first opened they really made the effort but I guess management just gave up on it now. Too bad. UPDATE: definitely made some work. The store, as of 04/02/22, looks organized and clean. Watched several employees arranging and cleaning up racks. Perfume section still needs work but the place has definitely made an improvement. Hope they can keep it up! UPDATE 12/01/22: while most of the items are organized, the men's section has become a walking hazard. Especially in the socks/undergarment section. Stuff scattered everywhere. I guess they are trying to get ready for Christmas shopping since their appliances section is ordered neatly. I guess this site is just not meant to be a nice store. Reminds me of Sears just before they went out...

The women’s clothing section has never been nice, but it currently is so disorganized and nasty that it is impossible to shop there. Not a single thing was in a reasonable place. There were literal piles clothing in the ground and damaged and stained clothes on the racks. I brought this up to the manager and she shrugged it off, blaming the addition of Sephora. People trash stores sure, but when it’s this trashed, there’s no way to shop and treat the place respectfully. Half or more of the plus size section was out of season clothing and all the discount signs were broken or wrong. The thrift stores here are at least sorted by size. This was like sifting through the bins but at a department store price point. The employees are also so over the place, not a single greeting or even acknowledgment of customer presence. It...

I am giving Kohl’s a 3 star for its extreme price gouging. I had some Kohl cash for returning some Amazon items, so inherently I tried to find something I could purchase to actually utilize it. I’ve had these coupons sit in my car forever and never get used, so this day I decided that I would look through the clearance section and see if I can get something for free using the coupon. Upon examining all of the items, and checking the prices at other stores, my friend and I came to the realization that even though the clearance section was 60% off, the items were still more expensive than other venues. The store gets a two star and not a one because of decent customer service, store presentation, and the convenience of the Amazon...
