My wife shops here A LOT! Today she came home & told me how she was treated in the College Station Hobby Lobby & I was outraged. A few days ago she bought items to make 12 centerpieces. She found similar items at another store for less so decided to return the materials she bought at Hobby Lobby. She had the receipt, it had just been a few days. Not a big deal, right? When she went to return the merchandise, she realized the cashier on the original purchase accidentally rang up 13 items instead of 12 for one of the materials. (There were 3 different materials purchased. 12 of each.) Obviously she only had 12 to return since that was all she left the store with. The item was $1.49. Again, not a big deal, right? My wife expected to return all the merchandise, explain the obvious error from original purchase (in the amount of $1.49) and get a full refund. WRONG!! The cashier talked to the manager & told my wife, "Sorry, we can only refund 12 since that's all you have." They were going to make us eat the $1.49 erroneous charge. They acted like this was some kind of scam my wife was running where she goes all over town buying 13 $1.49 items and only returns 12 & expects a full refund, thereby swindling the merchant out of one $1.49 item. Really??!! An assistant store manager (Kathi, with an "i" she thinks) actually told my wife that she was going to go and watch the security footage from the original purchase. SERIOUSLY!!?? She treated my wife like a criminal over a$1.49 mistake that HER CASHIER MADE!!! My wife said she would wait while the assistant manager watched the security footage. While waiting, wife explained to a different manager only the part about being overcharged for 13 items instead of 12. Got the $1.49 refund, THEN returned everything. My wife likes this store but didn't appreciate being treated like a criminal. So folks, if you shop here, make sure you check your receipt BEFORE you walk away from the register. Because once you walk away & realize they made a mistake & overcharged you, you will be treated...

Read moreHorrible experience. I needed to get something really large framed for work so I called and asked the frame shop in Hobby Lobby what was their size limitations. They told me the exact measurements I should get and a quoted a price of $250-$300. I then went and had the photo printed at a store down the street. I brought it to Hobby Lobby and they said they would have it ready in a week and a half.
I came back on that day and the girl told me that it wasn't ready and that she would call when it was. She was very rude about it and walked away from me! She didn't say she was sorry or anything.
I called and reported this incidence to the manager who told me she was sorry that that happened and that she would handle it.
About 2 hours later I get a call from a completely different person that tells me they ordered the wrong wood to make my frame and that they do not have glass or acrylic big enough for a picture of that size. I was livid because I only had the picture made that big because they told me they could do it. He said he would take $75 off. I will be taking this project to a professional and I will never use Hobby Lobby for framing...
