A Disheartening Delivery Disaster! Expecting a comforting meal, we ordered the new "Spicy Buffalo Chicken Melt" and the "Ciabatta Cheesesteak" from Panera via DoorDash, drawn in by the buzz around these new offerings. Our hopes were dashed when the delivery arrived. The sandwiches were not only minimal in filling but also lacked any robust flavor. Moreover, the cheddar broccoli soup, which we specifically chose to soothe my very ill husband’s sore throat, turned out to be a thin, chunk-less concoction, adding to his discomfort and disappointment. Spending over $80 on this order felt like daylight robbery, given the lackluster quality and quantity of our meal. The service from DoorDash was fine, but the food from Panera was a major letdown. It's deeply frustrating to pay a premium for what we hoped would be a nourishing meal, only to receive something that seemed carelessly thrown together. This experience was not just a financial waste but genuinely disheartening. I would advise anyone looking for a comforting or substantial meal to steer clear of this establishment. We were left not only lighter in the wallet but also heartbroken over such a dismal dining experience. We will not be making this mistake again.

I assume 20-40% of sales might be on coffee yet this location always has the worst unmaintained coffee station. Especially after 5pm. No milk or coffee even though they have only two options left. Employee can’t be bothered to check or make a fresh batch. Not even a wipe down. Hate this location but I moved and it’s the closest option. Corporate needs to get involved. Besides the fact that this location rarely has 2% milk available by the coffee. I order breakfast, they ran out of croissants so I had to pick plain bread. No problem. The kitchen always toasts the bread prior to making the sandwich but for some reason when I had to replace the original option they didn't toast it. So of course by the time I got it, it was soggy from eggs and veggies. App used to have notes for prep instructions. So weird you cant pick toasted and extra toasted for your sandwiches. Salt and pepper together but can't get only pepper? Have to force excessive sodium on us? Sugar in all your soups? Super healthy!

I've always loved the souffles here. When we were in Modesto we would drive 45 minutes out of our way to get fresh souffles. I was going to Home Depot yesterday so I stopped at this Panera bread to get a souffle because I haven't had one in a long time. It was a bad choice. Apparently they don't make them fresh in the store anymore they send them Frozen to the store and then the store heats them. They were terrible. 90% of the dough was still raw only the bottom layer of the dough was actually cooked. And on top of that the bacon was dried and old like it was cooked a couple days before. When they were fresh made in the store they were often out of stock. I'm sure some executive thought they could make more money by sending them Frozen to the store. We'll they ruined an amazing product. I won't be buying souffles from Panara anymore. The staff were nice and refunded me and even offered me a muffin and some other things to make up for it.

Alarah and the line team provided exceptional service. Polite and helpful and smiling. The Frontline cashiers however were complaining bitterly when one of the kiosk was malfunctioning. As we stood trying to order 2 of the cashiers stood complaing how the kiosk was still nor operating and the signs were not changed. Apparently they wernt tall enough to change they sogns. They seemed irrated that the employee they delegated this task to was not moving as quickly as they would prefer.Clearly they felt disgrintled with both issues. Enough so to make their opinions know in front of at least 6 other customers. They complained about other employees. Labels did not indicate they were in supervisory position. When a person in a supervisor did arrive ( cash register in hand) The cashier berated him. Clearly she was frustrated. Forgetting to add the bakery items as she failed to regulate their emotions. The food was excellent. As was the customer service we recieved from the back line. This was our first experience at a Panera. We will not return to the Nevada Street location as their does not seem to be policies in place to address the employee dissatisfaction and providing a positive enviornment for their customers. I hope this review will encourage management to make adjustments they deem appropriate. Perhaps reviews need to be more frequent. We will frequent another location as the food was fresh and well prepared. I am confident at a different location the customer service will parallel the excellent...

Soup tasted good and so was the bread but it's quite expensive especially for a small soup where my side Choice was an apple or a piece of bread or potentially something else I don't recall but I was only there for suit because I was really and was not feeling up to an apple... even though it's on the BRAT diet I was more wanting the kind of soup that is more like the texture of applesauce but runnier so pureed. And only because I was the kind of sick I got my stomach was already sad and if it made a round trip I did not trouble if you will. I apparently still have a frequent Shopper card under my phone number although I've got no idea what that gets me because it didn't seem to get me anything! But the soup was okay and not much better than Walmart's brand of Frozen broccoli cheese soup that comes in a bag and has garlic butter croutons with it that makes two large bowls of soup for less money than one small bowl of soup. If you assume Panera soup is a 10 which I would not give it a 10 I've had better sleep with the black eyed pea then Walmart would be an eight and a half. But if you put the best broccoli cheese soup I've ever had which was that black eyed pea because it's not something I eat very often and that's the 10 then the Panera is a 8 and 1/2 and the Walmart brand be about a 7 but still for double the amount and having it be enough to feed two hungry people rather than one sick person that really kind of put some weight on the scale for me to rate black eyed pea and Frozen...

UPDATE: Trying to give the place a fair shot, but they are trying hard enough. I returned for the first time in a long time to this Panera. They STILL don't keep a good watch over their drip coffee urns, letting them become lukewarm before refreshing the urns with new coffee. Also a problem: Right after my purchase of a breakfast sandwich and coffee, while I was sitting in the restaurant, I received an email saying that I have now learned the option of a free bagel (or $2 off certain other items). I returned to the counter to claim that free bagel about 40 minutes later, and the cashier said that when she looked up my account it did not show what my email from Panera showed, and so she would not honor it.

So… I don't know what to say here. This store seems determined to make sure it's not up to Panera snuff.

ORIGINAL: coffee. it's a fundamental of a place like Panera. But it's fundamentally disappointing. At this one, like most of them, daring to get a drip coffee in the afternoon is hit or miss; it's often old or cold, or both. Today, it's both. I brought it to their attention. Ten min. later, they had still not replaced the old-cold brew. I complained again; they replaced it right away, but it didn't taste like the Hazelnut flavored coffee i expected. The employee said "it's the new recipe." in my opinion, the new recipe is missing the...
