Hey Colorado Springs! Come with me to Arharn Thai! It’s been fun going around the city to find a new favorite Thai restaurant. I have a nice list, thanks to all of you! Arharn Thai is located off of Powers and N Carefree. The space is small, and the people working are so friendly. They had so many wonderful suggestions too! I always have to get a papaya salad, and Thai iced tea with whatever I’m trying. It’s another solid one to have on your list if you’re on that side of town! Cheers! #coloradosprings #coloradospringslocal #coloradospringsfoodies #thaifood #asianfood

My husband and I have visited Arharn Thai many times during our time in Colorado and have had most items from the menu - you really can't go wrong with anything. The green and red curry have a unique herbal and almost buttery taste to them. Before we moved away, we discovered the tom yum fried rice and the kow pad ho kai - which we cannot get where we moved. I came back to CO to visit friends and had to make a stop in for kow pad ho kai, tom yum soup, and an order of mango ice cream with sticky rice. The woman who took my order and rang me out was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. I had initially hoped for fresh mango and rice, but the mango were not yet ready. She let me know they make their mango ice cream... I initially said no but had to come back in to order it. It's tasty and not overly sweet, fresh mango is my favorite but the ice cream with the warm rice is a treat. The servings are massive, the food is fresh and flavorful, price is more than reasonable for the amount of food, and the service made my evening. The ambiance in the restaurant is peaceful and not too loud, it also has nice live plants. Stop in and give them a try if you haven't.

The food was ok. Nothing special or extraordinary. We tried a variety of Thai dishes. The spice level was good. The Curry dishes were a bit weak in flavor. Service was horrible. The girl wasn't friendly. She rolled her eyes a lot and wasn't courteous at all. There weren't many customers on the Sunday afternoon when we dined. It was if we were a bother to her when we tried to engage with her and ask her questions. Her response was I don't know, I'm not the owner. Don't order the ice cream. The green tea and coconut flavors were bland. The ice cream tasted old, freezer burned. I would not go back to this Thai restaurant. Mainly because of the poor service, there are better choices in the area.

I have eaten at Thai Arharn many times and it's most of the time decent and good. I say that because I have a higher standards then probably most people. Not that I am somebody I just know good, better and best when it comes to thai food. Please don't think I'm a snob I don't usually write reviews but I have to give some in site on my experience today. For some reason as in quite a few times the wait staff wasn't and isn't the most friendly in town but, we always overlook that because great thai food is worth it. Today was a different day. My order tasted like it had been cooked in a burned pan, or that they had burned something and not gotten all of the burn taste out of it. Everyone has probably had something that was burned and it's a definite taste. I added a bunch of soy sauce and some of my wife's broth from her soup and just decided to eat it anyway. I then mentioned it to the waitress and told her she should let the cooks know and she just kinda blew me off. No apologies or anything. It was just like I was lying about it or something. After eating I went to the counter and asked the same waitress if we could get a discount on that plate and or if she could do anything about it and she just looked at me surprised and said no. I then proceeded to ask her in a very calm and nice tone if she thought the money was more important then trying to please or make it right to a customer when and her reply which I'm still shocked at was yes. She actually said the MONEY WAS MORE IMPORTANT THEN MAKING IT RIGHT WITH A CUSTOMER. I have been to this place probably 15 times. I then told her I would review her and the business and she said she didn't care and her reviews are good. So here I am. That attitude will not keep getting her great reviews and it will come...

The first time I ate here I ordered take out of just the crab cheese wonton appetizers. The second time I went with two of my cousins to dine in the restaurant. It took almost 20 mins for someone to take our order (even though the place was not packed). I ordered the chicken and broccoli and the waitress brought me beef and broccoli. I told her politely that I ordered chicken not beef and she stormed off with an attitude. Suddenly we have a nrw waitress who then brings out my cousins dish, the Bangkok vegetable fried rice which tasted completely bland, no spices, or seasoning and hard broccoli . She asked if they could remake her dish with seasoning and fresh broccoli.

What's even more surprising is that when it came time for the bill, we decided not to leave a tip due to the poor customer service, lack of enthusiasm, and poor quality of food. Being that we were the only people left in the restaurant, the waitress saw that we left no tip and decided to give us a speech about not leaving a tip and how nobody's going to want to serve us if we don't leave a tip... she also stated that we should order takeout and not dine in if we don't want to leave a tip. We were very polite to her and said okay goodbye but we won't be back again. Even more crazy is that when we left she was looking out the restaurant door at our car as we drove off like we committed a crime. If you want really good Thai food this is NOT THE PLACE! I'm from Hawaii where we have authentic Thai food restaurants so I know good Thai food however, this place is not great and they have poor...

The service was horrible. They treated me rudely even though I paid 88$ worth of food. I asked if they could give me the large Thai tea I ordered instead of the small and not to add more ice because it was all ice in the small (which I poured into the large cup before adding more so they did lose more product) she then charged me for a large with no ice which was $5.50) I asked how could that be if clearly there was ice and instead of understanding she said how about I take it and throw it a way and give ur money back so you’re not confused. Mine you this was for my child. I got upset and said she didn’t need to be rude that I was just trying to understand and she said she was just trying to get me out of her way. I’d never go back there. I felt bad for her servers cause they were sweet but she was beyond rude and laughed when I said thank you after paying anyways. Worst customer service by far. In all my travels through many states.she was the only older Asian lady there and disgusted me with her attitude. I hope no one else has this experience. I said I was going to leave a tip and she said I don’t need it keep it to afford a drink. So I left a note that said tip; be nicer. I’m going back to tip the ladies from tonight but my kids feelings were hurt cause they felt they shouldn’t have wanted a Thai tea in the first place. That’s not ok. This place needs better services and to...
