GuitarJimBourke in the last week-Edit 70 miles south west of st Louis. a conductor called the police and had me tossed from the Amtrak train. i was on route to Oklahoma city to a gig on Friday July 10th to recite poems from published poetry book i wrote.. i had to pay $70 for cab fare to get to st. Louis.. the police were kind a enough to call a cab for me. & in st Louis they refused to sell me a bus ticket to get to Oklahoma city at 11:00 pm.. the police then said, i couldn't stay in station but could come back at 3:30 in morning when the Amtrak ticket counter opened .. I had to go back to my truck and check my math on ticket pricing and came back about 20 minutes later since I will be traveling with a friend and we had to decide either coach or a room. We came back around 20 minutes later. Thankfully, the doors were unlocked this time, but no one was at the counter. After 8 minutes of trying to get someone to let me buy a ticket Finally a different person shows up. The computer was slow but that's just computers and after way too long I got the ticket and was late to work Tldr I tried to get in once, I was locked out during operating hours, I tried again later, and nobody was at the...
ย ย ย Read moreI GAVE THEM ONE STAR BECAUSE THEY SEEM TO BE IN THE MIND SET OF "TAKING CUSTOMERS MONEY." THE SCHEDULED TIMES CAN BE CONFUSING AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A "REFUND OF MONEY OR SERVICE." WHEN YOU TRY TO CALL THEM ON THE 800 #, YOUR WAIT TIME IS LONNNNG. WHEN THEY ANSWER THEY TRANSFER YOU TO ANOTHER DEPT FOR ANOTHER LONNNG WAIT TIME. THEY ASK YOU TO LEAVE A NUMBER FOR A CALL BACK WHICH, THEY DON'T CALL BACK. WHEN A BUSINESS SUCH AS THE BANK CALL THEM, THEY ANSWER WITHIN A SHORT TIME. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY CAN "LIFT" YOUR RIDE IF YOU ARE NOT THERE AND YOU HAVE TO PAY AGAIN FOR THE SAME RIDE WHEN YOU GET THERE. "WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST, WHEN IT COMES TO AMTRAK?" We enjoyed the ride but, "I'LL NEVER GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO "STEAL"...
