Saw this leo in bad shape two days ago, and brought it to the woman's attention that was working that evening. She said he was fine, and seen by the vet. However, I know he isn't fine. He shouldn't have been on the floor. Anyone looking at this animal can easily see he is extremely unwell.
First pics are from today. I came back just because I was so upset about the state of this gecko and seeing him hurting broke my heart. The employee (larger man with glasses and long beard) was quite nasty with me, and kept repeating "he has a clean bill of health" despite me saying to him that he can't look at this animal and say he is healthy. He said I was talking over him, when no, he was ignoring me to just say the animal was healthy rather than even suggesting he go to the wellness room. I said he should be in the wellness room. The employee was very rude the whole time, because he misheard me say i "reported" them to corporate- when what I actually said was that I was told to report them by multiple other people. Not that I already had. He got another store member and said "he expects a discount"
"No. I don't want a discount. I am just concerned. I've been concerned since I saw him like this two days ago. You can't look at this animal and say "he has a clean bill of health,"
The woman he brought over was more kind, and agreed that he was looking bad. She took him back.
I tried to speak to the man being rude. He snapped about how I "already reported them to corporate". No, I didn't. He tried to recover by saying we dont have beef, and tried to give me a fist bump. I said no. I didn't file a report to corporate prior to coming in today, but your attitude? Your handling of this situation? I am reporting this now. I won't return to this store with the...
Read moreThis place is a joke. Our puppy had back surgery last week. She isn’t eating and we had to take her back into her emergency vet. They prescribed her a wet dog food for weight management. They said we should be able to get it at PetSmart or petco. We went to petsmart first but they no longer have prescription dog food anymore and they told us to go over to petco. So we go over there and find the food that she could have. We did some other shopping and then we went to checkout. They asked if I had a prescription for the dog food and I said yes. I handed it to them and they said they couldn’t accept it. When asked why they said because it wasn’t from their vet and they couldn’t sell me the dog food. I tried explaining that my dog really needed it because she hasn’t been eating. The guy behind the counter said there was nothing he could do with an attitude like he could care less. My wife said so pretty much this place doesn’t really care about dogs that don’t see their vet? The guy said well if that is how you feel then you can take her service somewhere else. So we did just that. I feel so sorry people who are in that situation and are trying to do everything for their animal and get turned away because your dog or animal doesn’t see their vet. Mind you they have the prescription dog food out in the open where anyone...
Read moreI recently visited the new location in my area iN Columbia, MO, I called in the appointment. Let me just say that the groomer was excellent (Amber) she was caring and very friendly, she did a great job on grooming my dog (5 Lb. Yorkie). My problem comes when I recieved the bill and saw an additional fee for Supplies & materials, never in my life having my dog (13 yrs.) have I ever seen this charge. My issue that you are already paying ($47 in my case) for grooming I did pay for oatmeal shampoo ($8) which I could have bought a bottle at that price. The additional fee seemed to be a bit over kill, didn’t I just pay an extra fee for the supply of the shampoo, and don’t they always shampoo your pet? Isn’t Petco a supply store? If every customer is paying a $5.99 in additional fees don’t you think Petco would have enough supplies & materials for all the pets they may groom. It is not the amount of the fee it is the principle of the fee. I go to the hair salon they don;;t say oh by the way we need to charge you for the scissors we used to cut your hair or for the blow dryer I used. It is a shame for this money I can jus tho to a private groomer and give them my business. BUYER BEWARE, it reminds me of Bank of America and fees they charge people look...
