S.O. and I went here tonight. The service, very lacking. The staff, even more lacking. We placed our order after having to seat ourselves and after having to ask for menus. We then proceeded to the very small salad bar while waiting for our order.
When the manager (who was from a different store) realized the cooking staff was M.I.A., the front counter clerk was asked to get started on the dine in order (our order from about 20 mins before hand). Another 10 minutes later, my S.O. got her food. 5 minutes later I received mine.
In that 5 minute time span the manager who was working the store, got into an argument with the cooking staff about the basic cleanliness of the back area. We were both shocked and very turned off about it. We spoke to the front counter girl (the one who was asked to start our dine in order) about it, voicing our concerns of the cleanliness in the back area. Her response was, it isn't the prep area they area talking about, but it (our food) goes through the oven and isn't touched by the cook staff after that.
Some conversations you don't have in front of customers, let alone argue about which shift should do the cleaning in front of customers. On top of that, you DON'T ignore a complaint by blowing off the customer and telling them that the heat front the oven kills what ever may be in their food due the lack of cleanliness
We paid and left.
Lesson learned to never...
Read moreI am finally done with Pizza Hut. Its no secret that Pizza Hut has been getting worse over the years. Worse quality and worse service. I blame corporate greed for both. Buying cheaper ingredients, cutting corners, and now not even hiring enough workers to handle any demand. This location is specifically not that great. Almost everytime in the past year we've ordered theres been something wrong. Either burnt or under cooked pizza, missing items like bread sticks or drinks. Or like yesterday, the order arriving two hours late, being stone cold on arrival. The driver, being from doordash, saying the store was so disorganized and understaffed that he sat for 30 mins in a drive through line, in a large line of other doordash drivers, to wait to pick up the order. One, when did pizza hut stop hiring delivery drivers? Not sure i like that. Two, if there had been more employees on hand it would have solved a lot of problems. Also, i have to say, the tag line "no one out pizza's the hut" makes me laugh. Because now adays basically everyone out pizzas the hut. Lol. Anyways, i dont think ill be returning to pizza hut anytime soon. What a...
Read moreWe were eight seniors, decided to have lunch together at newly built West Worley, location Pizza Hut. I had lot of FOND memories of quality & friendly Pizza Hut, but this time I was little disappointed. Place has become too small to accommodate dine in experience. Most of the cutlery bowls, cheese & red pepper package bowls were empty, giving an impression they were not filled for the last one or two weeks. Service was mediocre, we had ordered four pizza but after half an hour only ONE came. Lucky, by the time we finish one piece each, rest of the food came in. Staff was too noisy for us to have our quiet conversation. Quality of Pizza has gone down. Too dry and mushy the pie. I had loved the old business model where a waitress or waiter (Generally college students) Will seat us and take our order & at the end we will reward them with extra tip to enhance their education. Did not find, none of that. If PIZZA HUT continues with "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU THE CUSTOMER, YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW OUR RULES" I am afraid you might end up like SEARS & K-MART closing the facilities in Columbia. Please don't let...
