Giant Eagle Bakery — Restaurant in Columbus

I’ve been in here a couple times for cakes and the same woman is working. She’s very snippy and bordering rude if you ask anything or she tells you any thing. The cake selection was non existing with the cakes the bakery doesn’t even make. I asked if there was any in the freezer got snipped at and asked is a shortage as I’ve contacted 4 other stores and she snipped at me. Then since this is my 5th store I decided just to take one they had. Asked if they could put happy birthday she said I have picks so I asked what they looked like. Frustrated grabbed the container started throwing them down on the table after the second one I just took one because her attitude was making me lose my patience and I needed a cake. Then she rips off the price told me you have to go prepay. Okay this is absolutely annoying. I had more Shopping to do but since I had to pay with my credit card for the cake before the bakery closed and I not get my cake I didn’t do the shopping to have another quick transaction at the same place and my card get flagged for fraud. So nice :) I needed a cake within 2 days and they could do it. Did it over the phone and when I got there to pick it up they showed it to me and it was perfect! Only $20. It was a simple cake with just writing so, I knew it'd be fine. Got sprinkles and candles to apply myself, and they had a great selection of balloons. Got in and out in 10 minutes. Ordered a baby shower cake for an employee. The decoration on the cake was horrible. I have ordered many cakes from this location and never had an issue. I had complete faith that the cake would be beautiful. To my surprise it was NOT! Very disappointed. The young lady apologized and offered $5.00 off the cake.
