I have been going here now for 5 months and it has been a complete life changer.
I tried a few gyms around town from CrossFit to Cycling wanting to find a gym where I felt comfortable and saw quick results.
I (like many others) got wrapped up in work and my social life - eating unhealthy and going out all the time. Felt horrible and gained close to 40lbs. I was so out of shape and felt ashamed and embarrassed about my weight gain.
I started at SOS and remember the first class I took was in the Mix. Thinking to myself, I’m about to puke there’s no way I can do this or get thru this class. I look around to see women (and men) of all sizes just giving it their all. It was motivation .. inspiration.
Now 5 months later - I go everyday (it’s a part of my day) and I’ve lost 30lbs and feel amazing! What this gym has done for me both mentally and physically for me was a life changer.. I’ve lost 30+lbs and feel goood. I feel confident ..

Read moreSOS changed my life. As a 20-something college graduate I had tried time and time again to lose the dreaded college weight. I tried tons of workout programs, diets, studios, etc. It wasn’t until I found SOS that I found success. After working out with SOS consistently for about 8 months, and participating in their “check yourself” nutrition program I had lost over 25 pounds!!! I have kept the weight off since and I know it’s due to the lifestyle I created through SOS. They’ve helped me push harder in the gym, and eat healthier consistently. Furthermore, all the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. Never once did I feel out of place, even when I was just starting out and was significantly out of shape. Although their membership is expensive, in my opinion it’s worth every penny. I would not be where I am today without SOS. Their motto is THE SYSTEM WORKS, and...
Read moreI’m in my 6th year of working out at SOS and I love it today just as much as I did when I started. The physical and mental challenges of pushing myself to my limits is what keeps me coming back. It never becomes “easy.” Part of the mental aspect is pushing through your workout despite 90 degree plus temperatures during the summer. If you can’t handle an hour long class without air conditioning and don’t like people sweating around you then you are probably better off joining Snap Fitness. SOS is a gym, not a country club.
SOS is a special place. People are there to make themselves better and that’s it. No one judges others, they are too concerned about themselves and their performance to worry about other people. No one cares what your fitness level is or if you have to modify moves. We all struggle and you will earn respect by just walking...
