Bob Evans — Restaurant in Columbus

This Bob Evans has some of the worst management I have ever seen at a restaurant. The afternoon we dropped in for an early dinner, there was one server serving about 12 tables because the other servers had called off. She was clearly overwhelmed, but instead of providing her any help, the 3 "managers" literally stood by the kitchen and did nothing.

Every table in the restaurant that wasn't seated had dirty dishes, some of which had clearly been there for hours given the look of the food on the plates. Until a nearby table complained that their meal was not cooked, the manager didn't bother to lift a finger. Only then did he start to bus tables and actually make an effort to provide service.

Our meal took 45 minutes to arrive in a half full restaurant and had clearly been sitting in the window for a while. We never got our drinks. My dinner didn't come until I had to ask for it after my girlfriend had finished her meal.

The employees at this location should all be fired. I have a hard time blaming the server who was trying her best but was completely hung out to dry. I would imagine anyone would give up on providing service with...

My grandson (4) and I entered the restaurant and stood quite a while along with another group that actually had a frail member with them while numerous people watched us. Eventually enough time passed and one of the staff acknowledged us then someone finally came over to seat us. Once seated we were not waited on for a bit. It seemed the servers did not know what tables belonged to each of them. I ordered a breakfast and my grandson ordered a kids breakfast. Our food took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. I had fruit instead of potatoes which ended up being a half full dish with about 8 grapes and a few pieces of cantaloupe that looked well past its peak. My grandson's sausage patty seemed like it has been on the grill a good part of the day. I'm sad to say that since the chain has been sold the restaurants just continue to decline. I wouldn't go anymore at all except my grandson loves it and it has been our date night since he was very little. February 25, 2020 me and my family visited this bob evans and I had to use the women's bathroom and I used the little stall and it was not very clean I had noticed that there were splatters of cleaning chemicals on the bottom of the walls that looked like it had been there for a long long while because the clumps of the splattered chemicals were completely dry, the inside of the toilet bowl was disgusting my grandparents ordered the Three Meats and Cheese omelettes which came with cheese, bacon, onions, ham, sausage and diced tomatoes, when they started eating their omelettes they got maybe 2 or 3 bites of bacon and the rest had no bacon and only 3/4th of their omelettes had anything the other 1/4th of it was plain, my mom ordered a the cranberry pecan chicken salad which came with blue cheese crumbles and there was so much blue cheese in there that her salad was ruined and she couldn't eat it.
