Burger King — Restaurant in Columbus

I used to frequent this location several years ago and it was a good experience. Over the past year the customer service has been terrible. Orders take forever, they aren't correct and the food is subpar. The hours they were open were not consistent with the hours posted on the door or what was showing online. When you caled them to find out if they are open, they didn't answer the phone and there was no recording. They recently remodeled. We were in the area during late morning and thought we'd give them another chance. They installed a dual ordering drive through. We pulled in the left lane and started our order. One item into the order, a car that was behind us pulled into the right lane. Our screen blanked out and the employee began to take their order. Our screen also started to show their order. When they were done, the employee started our order over again. Another car pulled up in the right lane and the same thing happened again. We backed up and pulled into the right lane. When we began our order we tried to tell them what happened with the other lane. They were only interested in taking the order. There also may have been a language barrier issue and it could have been they just didn't understand what we were trying to say. We proceed to place our order. We ordered some breakfast sandwiches and also tried to order a cheeseburger which was showing on the breakfast menu on the monitors. They said it wasn't available. Another breakfast sandwich it was then. By the time we reached the window, it had been 20 minutes. When they repeated the order back, they were missing half the order. When I placed the order, they asked all the correct questions, what size, what type of drink. So they had to edit the order at the window, asked the same questions and ultimately got the order right. We waited another 5 minutes at the window. During our time in line and while at the window, several customers that were behind us pulled out of line and drove away. I can't blame them. Today was my first time visiting this location, and it will 100% be my LAST. I stopped through the drive through at around 11:45, and there were only two cars in front of me. It took approximately 15 minutes for me to get to the speaker to place my order (at which point they did apologize for the wait). However, it then took approximately another 25-30 minutes for me to even be able to PAY... with only TWO cars in front of me, neither with an order larger than one bag of food. Once I was finally up to the window the woman that greeted me was extremely rude. Did not apologize for the wait, took my card and did not offer me my receipt, and then almost forgot to give me my drink with my combo. After sitting in line at this establishment for close to 40 minutes, I get back on the road and go to take a drink of my coke... to realize that they clearly had not changed their machines because the coke tasted almost like pure water. NO flavor. This was already aggravating after my wait, but then I go to open my burger (I ordered the bacon cheese whopper), to see that I received a regular whopper, but PAID for the more expensive menu item, AND half of the contents of the burger was smeared into the wrapper rather than on my burger. Unbelievably rude obnoxious and unprofessional. I went to pick up the order for my customer and the instruction says go inside to pick up, and the door is locked when clearly is supposed to be open at 6 PM. After going to the drive thru I thought it was going to be it, but that is when the nonsense begins. The guy intentionally ignoring me through the speaker and made me wait there for twenty minutes exactly since I have timer and able to see how long spent for each order total. Anyhow, got to the window and told the guy named" Alex", why he did what he did and he simply replied back "it is what it is and if you don't like it cancel it and leave." He specifically said, "I don't care about your time". I thought this guy must be insane or he is on drug or something to talk to people like. You will run to a wrong one someday and things would sour too quickly brother, be careful. This restaurant was always my to go when it comes to grab a quick meal but it had gone I tried to reach the store and nobody cares to get the phone and also tried to contact the corporate and unable to reach them either.
