This is the worst place I have ever lived in.
When I first arrived they had a promotion where you get a visa gift card and I was told that I would get it on arrival. I told the building manager (Wes) I wanted to use it for the first month’s rent and he said that’s fine. A few days in to my move I went by the office and asked for the card and he said he will follow-up on it and a few days later I had a notice on my door about paying the rent or else I could get evicted lol. This was literally 6 days after I moved in. He told me to my face everything is okay and the card will be coming then does that. I paid the rent that same day because it wasn’t a matter of money, I just wanted to use the gift card (which came a few months later). This left a very bad taste in my mouth.
The management in general is terrible. I have literally spent months waiting for email responses and finding someone working in the office is nearly impossible. I don’t know if they go home early or what but even when I get off work early they are never here. They need to either be present all the day or respond to emails in a timely fashion.
The garage door to the south part of the parking has broken down twice in one year and takes months to fix, which is absolutely ridiculous. They told us it was because they were quoted too high a price lol. That’s not our problem. When we don’t pay rent they threaten to evict us immediately but then expect us to wait months for them to pay for something, beautiful.
You need a fob to use access the apartment floors by elevator or stairs but they don’t even give you extra ones for guests, this is very annoying. You constantly have to go downstairs to let people in or if you have a guest staying with you you’ll have to leave your fob with them when going to work. Give us an extra fob!
The bathroom floor picks up every single piece of hair imaginable and is disgusting.
All in all this place is terrible and I will NEVER rent from a LINK...
Read moreDon't move into this building unless you're okay with the raucous noise from mufflerless motorcycles and straight-piped ricer cars all summer long, and especially weekend nights. It makes good night sleep impossible and the city is doing pretty much nothing about it.

Edit 2: Since moving out, I was charged for paint damage caused by a previous tenant. They demanded proof it was there to waive the charge. I suggest taking detailed pictures/video of any/all pre-existing damage to the unit...
Read moreMy experience is based on moving in two months ago. The Sutton, bones of the complex, are great. For example: the noise from other apartments is minimal and really quite impressively contained. My neighbors have a puppy and I never here him bark! The finishings in the apartment are good, offers high ceilings, beautiful windows/views and considering the area, the price per square foot for rent, is fair when comparing comps in the area. In addition, the location is awesome. Wes, the Property Manager, is also professional, caring & responsive.
There are a few things, however, that appear to be owner related problems - out of the property management's ability to change: common area carpets are soiled/stained and need professionally cleaned (especially elevators), exit garage door remains broken and has been for the entire time I've been here, garage security is lacking-several bikes just lost parts due to theft (including my bike) and just yesterday another tenant told me his bike was recently stolen, when the trash chutes are clogged due to tenant's error-we use the trash room which needs a commercial cleaning (revolting) and this filth continues to be tracked in to the rest of the complex. No apartment complex is perfect and will provide numerous challenges, but if these things above were remedied, I'd get...
