Booked/paid for a mapping consult, left with nothing.

When I booked my appointment for a mapping consultation and I was so excited. I had screenshots of ideas I liked, I told my friends how excited I was, and I ended up leaving very let down. My understanding of the appointment was that we would pick out piercings together, see what looked good, looking at cost, looking at options for other piercings. Etc. I assumed that’s what I would get for paying almost $50. When the appointment happened, we looked at my pictures and that was basically it. I was told to look online (which is not very helpful) at what I wanted to order. I was also told that if I wanted cait to pick them out it would be an extra charge. I honestly left so let down because I wasn’t sure what I had paid for. The next day I felt so confused as if I assumed the wrong thing. I booked the same type of apportionment with a different piercer the following day. When I went to that appointment, this woman showed me earrings for almost 30 min. We went back and forth between styles and prices and what would match. I ended up leaving with 4 new pieces of jewelry , and one new piercing. I’m not sure how her micro blading is but I just wanted to share my experience on here for anyone thinking about getting pierced by her. I went in for a belly button piercing and left with a barbell above my belly button, not through it. The process was extremely painful and I didn’t understand why until realizing it wasn’t even in the correct spot. I went back in two weeks later to get it repierced and she was extremely unprofessional and told me I didn’t know what a proper belly button piercing looked like? No apology, no awareness of her mistake. She rushed through my appointment so badly that she didn’t disinfect the area before sticking the needle through. I didn’t even have time to correct it because of how fast and painful she did it. I informed her I had been at a public pool before the appointment and how proper infection control should have been used and she simply said I shouldn’t have been swimming before hand. Truly hope she hasn’t done this to anyone else. My belly button is still crooked and has taken well over a year to heal despite me taking care of it constantly. Just a warning to new customers: I had an appointment almost a year ago and just now decided to take my belly ring out because it became unbearable. Unfortunately it never healed and caused pain every day. I found out that I do not have the correct anatomy for a naval piercing and my body rejected it who knows how long ago. I always thought it was slightly off center too, even after Caitlin took the time to line it up. I could have avoided a permanent scar had I been told sooner. Not cute. Caitlin doesn't respond to texts regarding aftercare even though she encourages you to follow up with any questions. I got a third lobe piercing as well, which I think turned out fine, besides still being a little crusty. Overall Caitlin is a sweetheart and a very caring person but I can't help but question her expertise and precision given...
