H&M — Local services in Commerce

I bought a pair of shoes that, unfortunately, didn’t fit once I got them home. When I returned to the store to request a refund, I was told the item was part of a “one-time sale” and non-refundable. I explained that this policy was never communicated to me at the time of purchase. The associate pointed to a small red sticker on the box and said, “the cashier should have told you.” When I explained that the cashier hadn’t mentioned anything, she told me “it’s on your receipt.” Why would I need to read the reciept after the sale to find information I don't even know to look for?

What I found most upsetting, though, was her response when I asked what I was supposed to do with shoes that didn’t fit. She replied, “you do whatever you want with them.” I found this to be extremely dismissive, unprofessional, and lacking in basic customer care. This was also said to me in front of another associate who she was training.

The two methods used to communicate the final sale policy — a red sticker with no explanation, and fine print on a receipt after the purchase — were the least effective ways to make this clear. A red sticker could easily have been accompanied by the words “FINAL SALE” or paired with signage on the shelf to ensure better transparency before customers...

I don't know how recently they renovated the inside, but it looks so much better than what it was before, before there was pile of everything everywhere, now it is very organized, store front is bright , and gravitating.

Its like they just hired a new designer to renovat the store floor plan.

As you browse through the store you find that most of the items are same price as regular store prices, but lets be honest they are amazingly low regardless, maybe you find great deals on accessories, or a t-shirt. I usually shop size small, / medium. Depending on the cut, and if its holiday season. 😅 Now you might wonder all this nice things i said why did I only give four stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well main reason was there was not enough associate on the mens department assisting shoppers, next reason was you cant always find everything you see on their website. I was recently shopping online, and decided i should try Citadel Outlets instead , maybe I'll find the same online items in the store, but didn't, and i even walked around a couple of times, maybe they had it and i missed it, only if there was more associates around helping, i could have asked one of...

Two stories tall with mostly women’s apparel downstairs and men’s and children’s upstairs. Upbeat modern pop music plays throughout the store. Steady foot traffic walking through the store and browsing for tasteful apparel. It’s not obvious but there is also a recycling fabric where you can turn in old or unwanted fabrics in exchange for a discount on your next purchase, more information is available on their company website.
