Had a horrible shopping experience with cashier Michel A.
He's lack of basic greeting. Not even a "Hi" when I approached. He didn't bother to ask who had helped me, instead put whoever salesperson he'd like. When he was asked to check the price for items which were missing price, he seems annoyed. he can not stop shaking his leg/body to show impatience. When I told him that the 10 items I bought were for presents and can I have more bags, in stead of asking how many bags I need, He responded rudely that he could only give me 1 big bag and 3 small ones. When I asked again and suggested that he might treat it as separate transactions. And since some of the items are gifts, he looked me down and responded: "they are shopping bag not gift bag!" So I asked to speak with his manager, not only because of the bag issue, but more about his attitude. He answered very arrogantly: "I AM the manager".
At that point, I feel most humiliated. But what happened next made me decide that I would never step into that Kate Spade store again. The lady helped me after Cashier Michel A., after I complained about Michel, In steady of an apology, she accused me that I was making a scene and cause trouble (long line) and inconvenience to other customers.

Read moreI went to this store on Friday, October 11th around 5PM. I don’t remember the names of the employees, but I am pretty sure with this timestamp you will know who was working on that day. Long story short, I saw a bag and told the lady that I want to buy it and want to get a brand new one if they have it in the back (I don’t like getting items that were touched by 1000 people). While me and my dad are waiting at the cashier, the same lady that I asked to get the new one brings the same bag in yellow color to “show” it. Right after they bring the color that I wanted and immediately shoved in the bag not giving me a second to double check the bag. Sure enough the bag they gave me has a nasty defect (looks like liquid whiteout) on the back… absolutely ridiculous. I don’t think this is the right way to treat your new customers. I have no time to drive an hour to return it or exchange it, that was supposed to be a gift for my mom and obviously I am not going to send this monstrosity to her. I hope the management will look into this kind of issues in the future, because I AM NOT COMING BACK TO THIS STORE ever in my life again. Shame...

Meanwhile I roamed around the store. Belle 🔔 was also so nice and helpful, she is very knowledgeable about the products! I saw a Knott Medium Crossbody Tote for only $129! I could not believe it, the bag retails for $348 on the KS (non-outlet) website! The pebbled leather is so soft and pliable. Leslie located the item I was originally searching for and was able to set up a unique pay link so that the item could be shipped to me directly. So easy! I felt like I had a personal shopping assistant. The gift bag is also so cute, but don't forget to ask them to wrap it in tissue paper so that you can gift it right away!
