My mom and I just left this CVS. We had over-the-counter merchandise to fulfill our 2023 card balance. We had $150 to spend.
Our over-the-counter cards has an application that confirms whether the over-the-counter products are eligible.
We took an hour out of our evening to gather our products.
We waited for 10 minutes, for a cashier to come to the counter.
She was obviously doing some stock work but all she needed to say that she would be with us shortly rather that not acknowledging us.
She came up to the counter did not even say hello or thanks for waiting.
Lastly she rang up all our items and out of 15 items only three came up eligible and she told us that there is nothing wrong with her computer and that we need to call our insurance company.
Meanwhile, we buy these items eg A&D ointment, allergy medicine, band Aids Etc. all The time at CVS’s with our card.
Never did she once apologize, said this is not CVS’s problem, and she was the manager so there was no one else to talk to.
Her mother happened to be there and scolded us for the way we addressed her.
We did not raise our voices nor did we speak to her harshly.
We were just trying to explain that we buy these items all the time at other CVS’s.
We are considering dropping our CVS monthly membership and using Rite Aid.
This young lady was very rude and I hope someone teaches her some manners and how to be a leader.
By the way, this is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review of any business.
We went to another CVS this morning in Wayne and all of our items were covered and excepted.
Guess the manager was incorrect there must’ve been a system...
Read moreI just had easily the worst experience of any pharmacy in any state I’ve ever lived in. The woman takes my prescription, claims they have it and enters my insurance etc. so this woman with long braids wearing maroon scrubs and a black mask is looking at me giving me dirty looks the entire time. She comes and looks at the sceeen, goes back to her computer. Comes back and gets the prescription and proceeds to act annoyed and like she cannot stand her life or job and says “i can’t even read the DEA number” mind you i have my prescriptions filled every single month and they seem to be able to read it every time. So she hands it back to the tech, and tech says “should i call the doctor?” And the apparent pharmacist with the long braids and black mask rolled her eyes and said “you can if you want” I’m literally just trying to get my medication prescribed from my doctor and this place made me never want to enter a CVS again. I’m a travel nurse and the attitude and looks these women just gave me will have me never spending a dime at any CVS in this entire country. I hope that woman finds a way to become positive when she went to school for all that time to be a pharmacist, just to display the poorest, most cold hearted, non standard of patient care type of behavior. I’m in shock at how discontent and angry this woman was. What a horrible store and staff. Someone fix this! I’m calling corporate...
Read moreI don't know why, but the pharmacy employees at CVS ARE THE WORST! I had an operation yesterday and my amazing mother when to CVS to pick up my prescriptions, while I was in surgery. Whenever went back to the counter, they were still counting the medication and asked her to sit and wait. She waited and when they called my name, the hospital also called and said I was about to wake up. Instead of then giving my mother the prescriptions, they MADE HER WAIT IN A LINE OF 8 PEOPLE! At this point she was at the CVS for 1 hour and 10 minutes and now had to wait in line, when she really needed to go pick me up.
Instead of the pharmacy employee realizing my mother's situation and the need to pick me, she made her continue to wait. My mom stepped and explained the situation to the other people waiting in line, everyone let her move in front of them and were at CVS's behavior.
Step it up CVS and pay attention to the urgency for certain situations!
My mother was pleasant and respectful the whole time and deserved to be treated better.
If this is a precursor to the Aetna acquisition, I am...
