Pepper Lee Boutique — Local services in Concord Township

I was super excited to hear a vintage boutique opened up nearby. I am an avid buyer of vintage dresses and corsets. When I stopped in I was very disappointed to find many of the “vintage” items they were selling were from Shein, Amazon, and Aliexpress. Not only were they from these companies but marked up twice as much as the new product and they didn’t have tags. A lot of the “vintage style” tops, corsets, umbrellas, belts were all fast fashion that appear to be branded as vintage. Some of the clothing didn’t have any tags but a quick google image search helped me out. I did an image search of a pretty white skirt with black flowers they were charging $25 for and on Shein, new, for $9. There was no brand tag but the size tag in there confirmed it was from a fast fashion company like Shein. I love to buy second and usually don’t mind buying fast fashion second hand, but branding it much older than it actually is and marking it up two-three times as much is wrong. They did have a few good items that were reasonably priced that were more modern, but unfortunately many of the vintage items did not appear to be authentic. They also charge tax for clothing. Gina's store is located upstairs in Pepper Lee Boutique. I had a wonderful experience here! Gina and Marie were so helpful and kind. We were able to get earrings that matched a necklace we brought in that I will be wearing for my wedding. They even showed me how to properly clean my engagement ring so I don't damage the emerald. They have a nice selection of high quality costume jewelry and fine jewelry. I wish I knew about them when my fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring.
