I normally do not write bad reviews. I live near this Starbucks but have recently came to terms that I’m just going to have to drive the extra 10-15 miles to another location for better quality and better service. I travel for work and go to a Starbucks everyday. I realize different locations have different styles and personalities which I love but there’s no excuse for the level of poor customer service that this store offers. If you have a specific drink, a lot of the baristas do not want to be told how to make it. Starbucks gives customers the ability to hand craft their beverage so this location will seem you as a difficult customer if you just don’t take what they make you. I’ve spoken with the DM who was very nice and assured me that I wasn’t expecting more than any customer should. However each time I’ve been after that has been the same experience. I’ve had a barista to slam a container down and walk off bc I didn’t want to line my cup with caramel before the espresso because it will melt off (common sense)…I’ve had a shift leader to tell me “this drink looks fine/pretty standard to me..” I feel a lot of the staff make customers feedback personal instead of listening and seeing these are small requests. I’ve offered to wait, never was rude to any of them but I’m done with that same respect not being returned. It isn’t worth my $30 a week I spend there to keep having to battle egos just to get the coffee I’ve been drinking everyday for years. I choose to drive to exit 54 Kannapolis and target Starbucks who have NEVER given an issue. Starbucks Klumac Road in Salisbury is amazing too! Read moreWent through drive through at roughly 8:45ish pm. Ordered a venti hot chocolate, and my husband got a drink as well. At the speaker, everything went fine. We got to the window and they scanned the payment method we have on the app.
They proceeded to hand my husband his medium drink, and what looked like a child's sized cup of hot chocolate. We told the woman we had ordered a venti, and she took the cup back in and disappeared around the corner. A minute later, she comes back with a venti cup and hands it to us. My husband begins to pull around, and I notice that the cup isn't hot near the top, only up to the middle.
This woman literally walked out of view, poured the small cup of hot chocolate into a venti cup, and loaded it with whipped cream until it reached the top. Absolutely ridiculous.
I walked in to a group of girls cutting up behind the counter and explained, and they looked at me like I was crazy. I offered to pay the difference for a replacement, but instead was met with doubt. "Are you sure? How do you know that's what she did" they asked several times. So I shoved about half of my hand into the cup, pulling out a hand of whipped cream. They claimed they didn't make it, and that they weren't aware. I told them, again, that I'm happy to pay for a replacement drink, but that this was ridiculous. They didn't say much else, just made the drink and handed it to me and told me "have a good night".
I understand that mistakes happen, and it can be hard to hear people when they're ordering in the drive-thru. However, to try and pull this kind of dishonest move, is absolutely ridiculous. The three girls working tonight should be absolutely ashamed...
Read moreYou walk in and no one greets you. You stand by the register and they pass you and still no greet or at least say that someone will be with you shortly. Nothing is literally said. This is the most dirtiest Starbucks I have ever seen in my life! My daughter wanted a cake pop and I was looking at the loafs and cake pops they had and it was full of flies and gnats flying and literally all over all the desserts. The brownies were full on flies on them. I was so disgusted I left without buying anything. To make things worse I was there the day before and I made a big order through the drive thru. I had ordered loafs and stuff now I’m disgusted if it was a dessert from where they had all those flies at. They missed a coffee I ordered when I told her I’m still waiting for my coffee she said I never told her about that coffee. This was hilarious because I just ordered 2 coffees. Not so hard and 3 loaves. Very simple order. But the way the girls face was it’s like I’m wrong and she’s right lol. The long wait is crazy. I will never come to this location again! Never. This place needs better and friendlier staff. The need more cleanliness for sure. They need to start fresh and get new people because what they have right now is useless. This is a great location and it’s a shame to have the Starbucks name right now if they don’t change their ways. Loosing lots of business. Whoever the owner is has to come and check this out for his/her self. For me to sit here and write this huge review is because it’s bad!...
