Updated review I spoke with Mrs. Cynthia Perry the manager she really listened to my concerns and spoke with the associate. She is really committed to great customer service. I feel better knowing that the situation was handled by management and I would be glad to go back in the future knowing that.
I have been going to this Jared for years since 2015 and have had great service from many different employees of this store so I hate that I have to leave this negative review.
My visit this past Sunday just didnât sit well with me. I had the rudest associate ever! Her name was Cynthia T.
As soon as I told her what I was there for which was first to get a necklace of mines fixed the first thing she said was âAre you sure you got this from here? I havenât seen this here beforeâ. She didnât even pull up my account before asking just assuming I donât know where I got it from.
Next I said I need to get MY ring sized as well. She looks at MY ring I took off MY finger and asked me âIs this your ring?â I said âYesâ she then did a snarky laugh. Iâm not sure what she was trying to imply as if I couldnât own a nice ring or that my ring wasnât nice.
It did not end there I tried to ignore all of that when she finished I said thanks have a good day. This lady looked at me and simply said âThanksâ not you too just thanks. I have years of customer service experience and itâs just common courtesy to say you too.
I came with my 4 children and husband they have this play area that they love 3 of âem were able to play while I was being assisted so I went over there to gather them and let them know it was time to go. As we were walking to the door she, loudly said to my husband from the back of the store to my husband at the door âMr. Carr! Do you have ALL your kids?â That put the icing on the cake for me. I was just flabbergasted how someone could be so rude at an establishment where you pay so much money for their items. I will likely avoid this Jared from now on!    Read moreLetâs go back 9 months to January 1st. I bought a wedding band. I was told to wait until a month before to get it sized. I come in 1 month prior and Iâm told the lifetime insurance i purchased isnât good because to ring I bought but be used on the replacement plan, which apparently I only got 3 years, for the large sum i payed on the plan I was led to believe was something different. Then they order me another ring to change the size which I was told would arrive two weeeks prior. As 9 days until the wedding rolls around, I call the store just to receive a terrible excuse for service. Sheryl (I believe) checks on my order to tell me that my order has been canceled as if the store just found out. It is 9 days until my wedding and i just find out that I will not have my originally planned ring due to the neglegance of this store... At least I got my money back. The woman that had me on the phone for a 15minute hold that took the manager 2 seconds to figure out doesnât deserves to work at any type of customer service. Thanks for pulling this move on a customer 9 days before his wedding. If i didnât call the store to figure out where my ring was, they NEVER would have told me u til it was even more too late. I would say thereâs no words to describe this... but as you can see there are many. This woman and store deserve many expletives but it has taken a lot of down time not to share these negative words.    Read moreI had gone to the Jaredâs in pineville because one of the small diamonds on my halo came out within two months of me getting engaged and they âtriedâ to fix it and it looked awful. They put in a much smaller (and noticeable) diamond and put it in tilted so it was extremely obvious. I went back for a second time and it literally looked like they only cleaned it and gave it right back to me and I kept saying it wasnât right and they basically said there was nothing else they could do. Since I am a younger bride (22 years old) and my fiancĂ© is deployed I had to go alone and they took advantage of that trying to brush me off. So I went to the Jaredâs in Concord in hopes that the third time was a charm....and it was. I worked with Ahmed and he assured me that I was not crazy for seeing it as a smaller diamond and made sure that it was perfect or he would replace it entirely. They fixed it for me within 24 hours and I cannot even tell which diamond had to get fixed. He even told me that when they took out the replaced diamond, it was indeed incredibly smaller (so I wasnât crazy). He was patient and nice and respectful unlike the other one in pineville. I will be going to that Jared in concord if I ever have any issues with my engagement ring and when I look for my wedding bands I will definitely be asking for...
