If I could give zero stars I would. The worst experience ever. We came out for my niece 10th birthday. She loves Olive Garden. Upon arrival we were told there would be an hour wait. They text us back 10mins later after saying it would be an hour to tell us our table of 7 was ready. Ok, fine. We sat down at table 7:10pm. No one came to get our drink orders or food orders till 7:45pm. We watched people who came in after us get waited on and actually had their drinks and appetizers at their tables. Families ate and left all while we were still sitting waiting on food. Finally, our waiter came over to get our drink and food order. Salad came out 15 mins later, no plates and still no drinks. 20 mins later we got our plates still no drinks. We had to ask for manager at this point. Drinks came, still no manager. We noticed the waitress that we asked to send the Manager over talking to the manager relaying our request. We witnessed the manger shrugging her shoulders after the waitress advised we needed her to come over to share what we’ve experienced. Well, she finally came over with a horrible attitude. She apologized and asked us what we ordered. Of course by now I’m heated because why wouldn’t you already know what we’ve ordered. We’ve been waiting at our table for well over an hour. She gets our order to us and said she would be personally handling our table. She brings out my niece chicken tender meal. My niece bit into her chicken tender, blood came out. The tender was raw not even cooked. My niece screamed after actually swallowing part of what she had bitten. I screamed out so loud, the manager heard us and came rushing back over. She witnessed the raw tenders and apologized and said she would be compensating our meal. I said I’m sorry but I gotta get out of here and get my niece to ER immediately because she had eaten a piece of the raw tender. The lady manager sent another manager over and provided us with a gift card for $120. I refused it but my fiancé took it. They both advised us to reach out to them should my niece become sick or have to visit ER. Well I’m reaching out because that’s exactly what happened. Currently at ER. My niece started throwing up as soon as we got in the parking lot of restaurant to head to our vehicle. I need someone to contact me...
Read moreSince moving to NC, our orders have been okay but tonight is a different story as we ordered take-out and live about 30-35 min away when traffic is good. However, out of 4 dinners - 3 of turn were not that great at all and one just couldn't be eaten at all. The 5 Cheese Ziti Al Forno was coveted in cheese, couldn't tell if there was any sauce let alone taste it, pasta was way too 'al dente' and tasted like mush. Breadsticks: they were undercooked if not cooked at all & my son generally eats 90% of them but didn't eat a full one. My husband had tortellini Alfredo & he couldn't even tell if he had Alfredo sauce either because he had so much cheese, as did the fettuccini alfredo w/chicken dinner for a friend that was here. Utensils (and mints) - we picky received 3 packs and there were 4 of us with a total of 4 dinners w/salads. Dessert: Tiramisu is sadly the only thing in entire order that looks decent & good. Unfortunately, I had an extensive surgery recently which turned into 2 surgeries and I need to eat a decent meal before that or risk getting sick & I certainly can't afford that with 7 incisions in my abdomen. I used to work in the restaurant service for a good 10+ yrs and my mother ran & owned a restaurant in PA from early 80s to 2017 and the service I see coming from restaurants nowadays is just insane. As a server, I would've been lucky to receive a decent tip if one at all if I put dinners like this on a diners table not too mention the cooks job would've been on the line too. Totally disappointing! Do restaurants not care at all anymore about the service and quality they put out?? If not, they truly should - especially the management.

Read moreThe Olive Garden at Concord Mills is absolutely incredible! I took myself to lunch there today and it was so full of life; packed with guests. Despite the busy Saturday lunchtime crowd, I was seated immediately by a very kind hostess. Less than 30 seconds after I sat down, a thoughtful server stopped at my table and asked if I had been helped, and she told me that she would be sure that I was taken care of right away. My server was JD and he was so professional, attentive, friendly, and personable. Everything with my food was as it should be (delicious!), and if I wasn't already blown away by the three staff who had taken such good care of me, the general manager, Tyler, also stopped by my table after noticing that I needed more salad; he quickly brought it out to me, and I saw him attending several other tables as well. Not once did my drinking glass sit empty, and as I looked around the room, it was easy to see that every other guest was receiving just as excellent of service as I was; it was truly top-notch. It felt like I was in an Olive Garden commercial -- all the staff were smiling, the place was packed, and I even noticed one of the servers getting on eye level with a baby and being so engaging with the child -- what a way to make families feel welcome! You can tell that Tyler is leading this Olive Garden with excellence and that his team goes above and beyond to make the guest experience the best it can be. Please support the Olive Garden at Concord Mills -- I sure will be! It's been a long time, if ever, since I've experienced such a wonderful meal and been just so impressed like I was today. Great job, y'all (if any team members are reading this)! Keep up the great work! It doesn't go unnoticed -- y'all...
