When we first arrived at Men's Wearhouse last year at the Concord, NH store, a woman named Courtney was very friendly and helped us pick out what we wanted. We got 7 Groomsmen and Father tux's of the same style, Light Gray Suit with 4( at first it was freesia, ended up changing to Iris), 1 Plum( which never changed for the Best Man), and Silver vests for the fathers. Upon many phone calls and emails from them updating me on the status of the men's fitments and marketing, I had asked Courtney to please change Freesia to Iris, as we had a change of heart on the color after we decided on the bridesmaid dresses. Two days before the wedding I had received a "snapchat" of our best man in his tux. Thank goodness he did because, IT WAS THE WRONG COLOR. Had a little panic attack and called him and asked if he had left yet and he had but he was going back. I called also to have a chat and see what was up. Upon calling the Salem, NH store, where the best mans pickup was, and them investigating the matter, it seemed as though they had record and note of my call and wanting to change the colors but the Concord store never sent them through. Weird thing was the Best Mans color NEVER changed from plum. So ALL of the groomsmen's vests, ties and bowties were wrong. They said that we could pick them up in Salem the morning of the wedding. Luckily for them I had to go to the Salem Mall to get my makeup done that day so I was already there. I also had originally wanted bowties for all the men, but the Mister wasn't too sure about the idea. When there was only 12 days left until the wedding I had asked to see if anything could be done to get bowties instead and they said it would cost $20 a person to change out the tie for the bowtie. Having already gotten 8 tux rentals there I didn't understand why the need for an extra $160 fee for the change. Thankfully Courtney, from the Concord store had a solution of ADDING the bowtie for only $3 a person. We got our bridesmaid dresses at David's Bridal and were told we would get $40 off each tux rental and that if we met the party requirement we would get a free tux rental or a suit to keep for the groom. Well we rented 7 of all the same tuxes and never heard of that promo again. There marketing emails are OUT OF CONTROL. Overall I would say our experience was okay. There was some good things...
Read moreWe were fitted for suits for our wedding approximately a month ago. The customer service person was unhelpful, took improper measurements, and was rude. Amy, who identified herself as the manager was helpful, apologetic, and made everything alright.
Fast forward a month and two "are we all set" phone calls later we arrived to try on suits. One suit didn't fit, the other suit's adjustments had not been made, so also did not fit. Our associate was the same person as before (whose name I did not catch) and a gentleman named Raymond who also identified themselves as the store manager.
Raymond initially asked to see the fit of the suit, and then disappeared into the back with the associate who had been ignoring us. Upon returning, we were told that there was nothing they could do about getting a suit to us in a different size.
Cue one of the least professional exchanges i've had. Raymond was unable to provide a contact for the store manager, Amy, who he said was at a conference. At 2pm on a holiday weekend, whom we had seen leaving the store just as we were arriving. He was unable to provide a contact for the district manager. He was unable to provide a refund or offer any alternatives given that we suddenly had 2 days to figure out an emergency suit situation.
I called back today, and Raymond was very concerned when asking to speak to the manager, and more concerned when I asked for the corporate number. We've filed a complaint, but my hope is that this really terrible experience not happen to...
Read moreThis was our first experience with Men's Warehouse. As a Mom with my son, I found it confusing between " Custom made" and " Off the rack." Thankfully the gentleman assisting us was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We were shopping for 2 professional suits. We purchased 2 " Custom made," and 1 " Off the rack." ( Ralph Lauren.) The Ralph Lauren was a previous order that had been altered and not purchased so it was markdown significantly. It was disappointing to learn that alterations are NOT included with ANY purchase!! Lastly, they only have 1 person that does alterations once a week!! This means your waiting 3-4 weeks for your custom made suits, and a week for "Off the rack" alterations to be completed. I will update when our suits are completed.
