Today is the day that I'm taking time out of my busy schedule to defiantly write this review. I really should have 6 shops ago, but I just didn't take the time to do it. but today took the cake. I stopped in right after work today. The lady Stephine has the worst customer service EVER! She LOOKS LIKE SHE IS MAD EVERYTIME I HAVE VISTED THIS LOCATION And this is her attitude EVERYTIME I have gone in this store and she is the reason why I am doing this review. I ask her if they had any blue slacks and she never looked up at me while she was hanging clothes on a hanger & she had a look on her face that was unfriendly, and she made me feel like I got on her nerve just by asking where an item was. She just pointed to a very small section in the store with an attitude and nose turned up. so, I looked there but when I didn't see my size, I ask her if there were more in the store & she turned up her nose & said NO. She didn't even try & help me. Know I see why there is so many bad reviews about the customer service. If you don't like your job don't keep going in with a bad attitude.
A smile goes a long way, and Stephine defiantly didn't have either customer service or a smile. I went to the register and a young lady named Carol help me order what I needed to have it shipped to the store. so, thanks to Carol for your great customer service and a smile. Read moreThis used to be my go-to store, every quarter I bought at least 300. in new clothes-so hard to resist. Often I buy online and have order shipped to store, they are still all about covid-masks required (not suggested like most), can't try on clothes even ones that you already bought and paid for-because they have to isolate them 48 hours-hmm they are yours and wouldn't be part of store inventory so the excuse that would make inventory short seems rather absurd. There was a few items I had a concern that would not fit, since I was not allowed to try them on, I decided just to not take those items. So I was reading and making notes on the list of items that I had just spent 300.00 on when Ms. Rudeness who already had a paranoid snappy attitude (clearly one of those that should be at home in her closet hiding from people) said you can't write on that list. I tried to explain that I was noting which ones I was NOT taking as I was not signing that I got them when I am not getting them. She advised me I couldn't do this and snatched the paper, at which time I advised her I would solve the problem and just cancel both orders entirely then wouldn't have to worry about it. I have been shopping at this store for over 6 years now on the regular, I would rather drive to The Woodlands than ever make another purchase. Read moreLet me tell you all what happened tonight at Cato’s. I have recently rediscovered Cato’s with in the last 3 months I have been spending about $100 a month there. I go tonight and see these overalls on clearance $9.99 but the size I need isn’t marked down. So, I go to check out and I tell the clerk. She gets the manager and she adjusted the price to $9.99. Cool. The clerk proceeded to ring up my other items. They go pull all the other overalls because they weren’t supposed to be $9.99 but regular price. Someone marked them down wrong. The manager then says oh wait wait wait these are different than the ones you got. (They were identical I went through every single one on the rack) . She comes to the register and takes my overalls off my stuff and says I can have them for $28. What???? I was like okay I will just take the next size up with $9.99 tag on them. She said NO! I can’t sell you an item that I know it priced incorrectly. Exactly ma’am, you wouldn’t know they were priced incorrectly if it wasn’t for ME!!!!! I just saved your store $100 of dollars catching YOUR mistake. But, you decided to treat me like trash???? Someone explain it to me.
