Papa's General Store — Local services in Conway

I love the appearance of the store very welcoming made me want to go in side and look I pulled over just so I can go in that single store. What I found was really nice clothing styles and products however the prices were extremely high and I didn't notice anything was on sale or marked down which during the off season I would expect. Spoke with both a male and female salesperson that appear to not be very experience with Hammock Camping items such as Dutch gear or snake skins for hammocks to be packed up or camped with. While I understand hammocks are still pretty rare to be seen in the market is a normal camping product as an outdoor store I would have expected some knowledge due to the number of hammock products you had available. My family just left this store. While the store itself is very nice, big selection the two male employees/ or owners gave us a bad experience. We had several things picked out to buy and were looking for more. We would have spent at least $100 worth of merchandise. My 11 year old son had to quickly use the restroom while we were still shopping and one bathroom labeled dressing room was out of order and another one was locked so we asked if he could use the bathroom. They said “no, stuff gets stolen”. WOW!! We are not people that steal things and we don’t look like it either. My son didn’t even have anything in his hands so what is he going to steal!?? Also the older male employee stared up up and down each time we walked by him like we were criminals so it made us feel uncomfortable. So we decided not to spend our hard earned money...

I recently purchased a simply southern sharpa pullover from Papa's General Store. When I received it, it had a stain on it.( NOT THEIR FAULT) Totally a manufacturer error. I contacted Papa's immediately and a lovely woman named Kailyn got back to me the same day. She was very sweet. She contacted the owner of Papa's and he is not only allowing me to keep the original pullover, but is sending out a new one free of charge. This store, owner, and its employees are amazing.
