From start to finish the buying process was simple and easy. Jeff, the expert sleep consultant here was really straightforward about finding me the mattress and accessories that I wanted; meaning he wasnt simply trying to push a sale on me for his benefit. That's a great quality to look for as a consumer. Other than that, he and his associate answered all my questions regarding financing thoroughly and transparently. They did not try to hide any extra costs or have me purchase unnecessary items. I will say though that Americas Mattress "bundle and save deals" are great. If you are looking for a whole new set up come to this place, because in my opinion (after checking with other local/non-local options) this place will save you some money! That covers the purchasing part of the deal, It wouldn't be a thorough review if I did not cover the delivery of my purchased items. After a delay in my mattress coming from the manufacturer by the delivery date: I was not only compensated for my wait, Jeff was willing to close the store and delivery my items personally by the next day if he had to. That sealed the 5 star service in my opinion. This company is dedicated to doing the right thing for their customers, and that is an attribute you sadly cant even pay for these days. The businesses either cares or they dont, and Americas Mattress definitely cares. John & I recently moved to Coos Bay, OR . We needed a new bed and I didn't particularly want to take a risk of ordering it online, and Wayfair wouldn't deliver to our location. So we went into America's Mattress Coos Bay being warmly greeted by Tina. We chatted about our mattress preferences then Tina showed us some of the models. We knew we didn't want a plush mattress because of my sciatica and John's comfort needs. Tina spoke with us further then left us to roam the floor to determine whether we found a model we agreed with.

One of the aspects of the interaction with Tina that we both appreciated is that there was no sales hovering, no craziness following us around like we experienced at a furniture store recently and she talked to us about the Small Town Christmas shopping promotion where we could obtain a gift by saving our receipt. She explained shipping, setup and that we'd get notice in advance to confirm delivery window. Tina was quite personable, patient, professional from start to finish. The gal who worked with me during purchasing seemed very new and under trained. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Delivery was same day and professional enough. However, my mattress is SO much more firm than the floor model. I of course know and anticipated the floor model being well broken in. And I understand it takes time to break in a brand new mattress. But I've had mine for over 2 weeks and I'm still experiencing painful sleep. That being said... I went in to see if I could upgrade or exchange. But was turned away because the particular model I purchased didn't offer upgrades of course. Very upsetting I have to sleep on a mattress that causes me pain because of a lacking policy. Now I will have to spend another $100-$200 on finding a comfortable topper (money that I could have spent here if upgrading was allowed for my model) If you're going to offer upgrades and exchanges, it should be for all of your mattress.
