I would give this store 0 if I could. The customer service here is terrible! I love Old Navy I spend a lot of money here for me and my 2 years old daughter. I searched online for a dress to wear for Easter I found a really cute dress, shoes, and even the cardigan to match. Unforently I found this 3 days before Easter so I couldn’t order them online on time. So I called customer service line and got a really AWESOME representative who showed me how to look up the product number for each item I wanted and check if it was available in any stores near me. I found all my items they where all available in store near me. I live in Margate so I called the Coral Springs store the next morning to see if they had the 3 times I wanted and if they could put it on hold so I could come in and buy it. This picticular store’s sales associates was so rude, and had no curtisty what so ever. I called and a women answered her tone was rude and it sounded like she was already annoyed before we even started our conversation, I made the mistake of telling her I had the SKU number not the product number. The product number is only 6 digits a SKU number is much longer. When I gave her the 6 numbers she replied rudely “that isn’t the SKU number it’s longer then that!” I then told her that was the number the customer service rep told me the store would need to look up the items I wanted. She then put the phone down and walked away without telling me to hold or anything. I am thankful I didn’t hang up because then a man came on the phone, he wasn’t any nicer he found my item with the product number but not in the color I wanted. I asked him if he could find another store that might have it and he said rudely “no but you can call them.” I told him thanks for nothing and then hung up. I worked as a sales associate for Dillard’s and Aldo’s and if a customer called in the store for an item and we didn’t have it, I WOULD offer to look and and see if it was in another store before they asked me to do it. That’s GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! That’s appreciating your PAYING CUSTOMER! This store is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, the staff is rude and lazy. If you are reading this and you where the person who talked to me on the phone I have a messsage for you. If you don’t want to help people, go over and beyond for your customer, and don’t enjoy having to be nice to other people DO NOT IN WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am very disappointed in you Old Navy I expect more and I will be taking my business else where. You need to do a training class for the “customer is always right.”...
Read moreIn the early 1990's Dayton Hudson Corporation was looking to create a lower priced version Gap. It's Gap Warehouses were renamed Old Navy after a bar in Paris. The first stores opened in California and were set up to look like grocery stores with shopping carts. Now there are over 1,000 locations and Old Navy has branded itself as the place to go for affordable clothing for the entire family.
I had pretty much stopped shopping at Old Navy and Gap in my twenties. Once I had my daughter I would pick up an occasional outfit for her or a t shirt for myself. The older I got the less I went there. Then last week something happened to change my mind. I saw a teacher at school in s pretty black and floral dress. I complimented her on it and she said $12.99 Old Navy! $12.99, now that's something I had to check out.
I headed over to the store in my local mall. They still carried the same kind of clothes that I remembered, fun t shirts, simple dresses, tops, and jeans. I saw quite a few styles of $12.99 dresses. I have a curvy body and was surprised when they actually fit. I also fell in love with their accessories department. They had really cool jewelry and some of it was even on clearance. Prices are really great here. You can definitely get an entire outfit here, accessorize it, and still have money left over. One thing I really like is that the kids clothes are in the same prints as the adults so you can coordinate family outfits for pictures. When my daughter was a toddler I used to like to dress up with her in matching outfits. Now that she is 19 she is just not having it, just kidding.
I am so happy to have rediscovered Old Navy. The inexpensive clothes fit a lot better than I expected them to and the types of clothes they sell are perfect for the warm weather and casual style of...
Read moreMy Go To Store...very organized, neat, and the associates are always available to assist with with no sense of being bothered. I usually order online as you tend to get more options such as short, tall, and regular items, but nonetheless I usually find what I'm looking for and IF they don't have it, they automatically offer to order it online for you. I was also very surprised how easy it was to shop while this heartbreaking pandemic has affected every aspect of absolutely everything...implementing and respecting social distancing, having a mask mandate for all, a clear barrier between you and checkout, gives you a sense of comfort. Bonus: Oppose to other retail stores not accepting returns, Old Navy is still granting returns per their...
