GameStop — Local services in Coral Springs

My friend and I noticed they had 1 pokemon surging sparks booster box behind the counter so we excitedly inquired if it was available for purchase and if there were more as we both love pokemon and each wanted 1 box. We were both told that they didn't have any more, just the one box. They also said only 1 box was sold per day. My friend was nice enough to let me buy the box. As I was walking away from the store I decided to walk back to ask something else and noticed they had another box behind the counter. So I guess the employees here have no problem lying to customers. We asked again why there was another box and they told us it was 1 per person. I explained to him we are two seperate human beings and he finally let my friend purchase her box. I understand the need to limit the amount of cards to 1 per person especially since there are so many scalpers. But we were two different people and they only wanted to sell to one of us. Not only that but they lied to our faces. Earlier in the day we had purchased pokemon funko minis. We've been collecting pokemon cards for 20+ years. No idea why they treated us this way. The workers are very good there went to by madden 20 and they helped me a lot they helped me when i asked for a gift card he told me that if i buy a ten dollar madden point card and the starter pack it would be better than just single gift card and i was looking for a funko pop and it was all the way on top the worker was far nice and got a ladder and got it for me and i was at the game stop and these kid were looking at the pokemon cards and they were not tall enough so he helped them the one they wanted were all the way in the back and he was very nice while he was carrying dosing of pokemon boxes he was still able to help them and be nice and that same man helped me a lot with...

This is my go-to GameStop and I appreciate the customer service and the social interactions with these guys. I just can’t stand the “warranties”. I can understand if it’s for children but for adults there’s no need for these things. I specifically asked to add the 5 dollars towards the game instead of the warranty and the employee made it seem like I’d get the warranty free regardless, but that wasn’t the case. Even used a 5 dollar credit for a warranty, I could’ve saved 10 bucks on a game instead they upsell you on warranties. So annoying especially if you plan on trading the game in eventually.
