Cathy's Boutique & Gifts — Local services in Corpus Christi

Now here's a little shop that's worth the stop. It's curiously located at the ducks right past the entrance of a restaurant. My guess is it might be the same owner. Kind of how Rudy's BBQ has a gift shop on the way out. We didn't eat there though, we were specifically looking for a gift shop.

It was a little tight walking around. Especially if your a big guy and more than 6ft tall, but they had little trinkets that the big gift shops didn't have. There was something for everyone, so if you're looking for gifts to take back home, you can't go wrong here.

I bought a hat, which I felt made me look like Dr. Alan Grant. This was a life-saver on such a hot day. It only cost me $12.99 and curiously there were other items for around the same price. Great quality gift shop and I felt a much better value than the bigger ones like Palace Beachwear.

You can also take a nice walk all along the docks. Most of the boats seemed to be in Port during our visit, and many people were parked right down the edge of the water fishing. A very relaxing walk with only the sound of wind and the ocean waves on our ears.

Though, there's almost no shade around here. So sunblock sunblock sunblock! You'll want to go Cathy's Boutique just for a little break from the sun. There are a few trees, but they were small and other couples were already enjoying...

I visited this little boutique today based on the hours they have posted. I was in the shop was looking around, and another group of people came in behind me. We were all asked to leave because they didn’t open until five due to construction and they didn’t want the noise to hurt anyone’s ears, Even though there was no noise because the construction was stopped for lunch, we were still asked to leave I understand the tolls construction can take on a business, but not allowing your customers to shop and choose if the noise is too much that is on you! I already had an item in my hand. I was ready to purchase and was looking for more that lost business had nothing to do with...

I loved the service here! My husband and I went for dinner and a boat ride on a Friday evening, we looked around the shop and fell in love with a checker game set that they carried, we intended in going back after dinner to buy it but forgot. We stopped by the next day and they still had it and the sales girl remembered us and was quick to find it in the back and let us check it out before we left with it.

The girls in this shop were by far the nicest that we met...
