Unfriendly staff. Did not seem to be interested in doing buisness with me. Went in to inquire about services while on the square and stood in the shop a minute or two before anyone even greeted me and no one bothered to get up and assist me either. They talked at me from the back of the bleeding store. I only stopped in to see about having a ring sized up. Just asking if they do sizing and the lady flippantly answers “sometimes...It did not get better from there as we went back and forth doing a Q&A. I mentioned I had the gold with which to do the up sizing and they said they only use the gold they have. I’ve never heard of a jeweler refusing to use gold provided for a piece’s alteration. Two jewelers off Marietta Square even suggest if you have some to bring it with you to offset costs. It makes no sense. At that point I bid them a good day and said I would find another jeweler. My mother purchased a stainless steel link necklace from Fletcher's and it was supposedly 100% authentic but after a year the stainless steel necklace turned dark gray, which was an absolute waste of my mother's money. I am very disappointed with the unethical practices. I am requesting for a replacement necklace to correct the deceitfulness of your company. My mother does not have her receipt but I know you are able to retrieve her name in your database records. I've purchased several gold bracelet from Fletchers and I never had a problem until now. I wasn't going to address the issue but everytime my mother wears the necklace I am reminded of how Fletchers took advantage of my elderly mother. My mother is very sweet and loving. I went into store to get bars put on my wedding bands so im able to just slide my engagement ring in the middle, they tried to convince me to get it soldered together as one which i did not want to do. After i told him no he rolled his eyes and walked away. Once i received my ring back it looked horrible. The bars where huge on the side of the ring so i wasnt able to close my fingers together and the diamonds were not lined up the same so they were uneven looking. I had to take it to Conyers Jewelers in Conyers Square to get it fixed and they did a fantastic job. I would not recommend this place....
