TheaterXtreme — Local services in Cranberry Township

We recently moved to the area and wanted to begin our journey to update our home theater. I happened to notice Theater Extreme when we were house hunting. I stopped by one afternoon, and as soon as I walked in, I knew I was in the right store.

There are multiple rooms and screen setups, including an audio room. This is extremely impressive, however, it is not the best part of the store.

Tim, made this entire experience. He listened and knew I was just interested in seeing what the store was about, during that visit. The space in our new house was a bit awkward of a layout, and had some outdated equipment. I was trying to figure out what to upgrade. Tim volunteered to come take a look. I hadn't purchased anything yet, and he came out to advise.

As we moved forward, he never attempted to push a more expensive product. He asked what our budget was to make the best recommendations. His recommendations came from listening to our feedback, understanding our budget, spending a good amount of time with us and knowing our space. He spent over an hour with my wife listening to the different speakers, while his staff kindly entertained our children.

What is also great, is he has a good selection of different types of home theater furniture in the store. This was really helpful to sit in multiple different styles.

I upsold myself on the receiver as we discussed how I wanted to enhance the audio experience in the future. I really enjoyed the dialogue and exchange of information with Tim. It educated me, and my questions helped shape our experience to design a great set up.

Tim provided and unbelievable amount of information via email and multiple in person discussions. I could have easy taken this information and purchased online, but his pricing was better, and I believe in supporting local.

After delivery, Tim has checked in multiple times to ensure we were happy, and had no issues setting it up. I installed all the equipment.

We felt completely informed with our decision, and have no buyers remorse. So far we have purchased some speakers, receiver, power condition and new theater seating, and look forward to a continued relationship with him.

You don't get this face to face experience that...

We have been a customer since 2018. After moving out of the area we never lost contact with this great store and team. Tim took our calls many times over the past few years helping us trouble shoot the system as we went through a few different rentals. We just set up our system in our new home and needed to make some adjustments to our current Atmos setup. Tim reviewed photos and multiple phone calls to help us make the right choice for our surround speakers. As always, we were never pressured to buy from them, but we're pleased not only with the pricing but willingness to ship the speakers to our new home which arrived in 2 business days. We have purchased our reciever, complete 11.2.4 Atmos system, recliners, and blu-ray player. Our theatre has become a great entertaining space for our family and friends and everyone leaves very impressed. We miss visiting in person, but always enjoy the conversations we have with Tim...

I have been to Theater Xtreme several times over the years and was set to purchase from them. I elected to buy from a close friend from out of state. This was in part a bad decision. I recently went back and asked Tim for help and he couldn’t promise his assistance since I had not bought the equipment from him which is common and I understand the issues that can arise getting into someone else’s mess. He got Ben involved and we came up with a game plan on how to fix the system and issues that I was having. They installed and programmed the system and I haven’t been happier. I fought with the system for 3 years before Ben got involved and now it is fantastic. I am one that is very particular and demanding when it comes to my theater equipment and they have made recommendations and they have delivered. I thought getting this expertise in Western PA was not possible, now I will not go anywhere but...
