I have had great experiences and haircuts at other Sports Clips, but I had my worst service and haircut experience at this store a week ago and have not gotten a response from the store yet. When I showed up at the store no employees were inside. Eventually, an employee came in smelling of cigarettes and talking to someone on the phone using an earpiece. The employee prints my notes but remains on the phone. Due to his distraction, he misread my notes, which are: one fade on the sides and leaving and inch and a half or two inches on top. Instead he took the two guard and buzzed the top of my head. I tried to interject and stop him when I realized what was happening but he couldn't hear me because he was on the phone and it was too late, the damage was done and I had to get a buzz cut. It is without question my worst customer service experience and haricut. I submitted feedback and have not heard from the store in a week. I hate that I have to write this review but I don't want anyone else to have a similar experience. I will update this review if I hear back from the store.

Read moreI used to be a cosmetologist at a high end salon until I got rheumatoid arthritis and my passion became my pain. I still cut my fiancé' hair until recently I said I was done for good. I told him to go to Sports Clips. Quick, decent price, male atmosphere, and he's extremely low maintenence. The first cut was great. He got 4 cuts total now and they have only got worse. I didn't care but he's been beghing me to cut his hair again. Tonight I gave him my credit card and said just go to sports clips since we're leaving on vacation this weekend and I didn't want to deal with it. He had to wait almost a half an hour and when it was his turn the stylist rushed through his cut because it was close to closing time and did the worst hack job I've ever seen. His bangs were at least 2 inches uneven across his face. There were holes. Nothing was blended. It just kept getting worse. He was so upset and I had to re cut his entire head. I literally have a picture of all the hair I still cut off and fixed that she missed. So I literally paid that idiot do I could do the cut myself. I'm beyond irate. Read moreCame in to get my 4 year olds hair cut over the weekend and Sophie was AMAZING with him. This was his first time in a barber shop so he was nervous (we usually take him to a kids haircut shop). Shopie was patient and the haircut turned out fabulous.
The reason for my one star is due to another barber we encountered while waiting. During my online check in I requested “any stylist”. Once we got to the shop a barber whom I believe was Murphy (tall white guy with glasses) was available and we were next in line. He louder stated “no, I’m not cutting him” the receptionist let him no we were next and he replied “no you better get someone else to do it” and went to the back room. We then had to wait another 30 min while my son asked me “ why didn’t he want to cut my hair??”
While Sophie was cutting my son’s hair he definitely did squirm around a bit. Murphy was watching and decided to say “that’s exactly why I didn’t cut him”.
