Express — Local services in Culver City

Was one of the first Saturday morning customers to visit the store, first time in the store. A male key holder performing what appeared to be admin functions was positioned mid center of the store. I inquired about an item that was only one of two remaining in the store, one at floor rack level the other hanging at an elevated higher level on display. The store rep indicated that it was all that was available. I thanked him and left.

I reconsidered the display as an option returned to the store to inquire about the size of the item that was out of reach and was told by the same person that I could not see the item, that display could not be moved. I asked if I wanted to purchase the item and was told that the item was not available due to light damage and it would be sent back. My intent was to purchase this as a gift for my son's upcoming birthday.

The sales person did not extend any semblance of customer service. The refusal to bring the item dowm for a closer look, no offer to reach out to other locations or direct to a search online, no interest in providing service.

This made for unpleasant start for an otherwise very nice Saturday morning sullied by micro aggressive unprofessional conduct which does not bode well for a company recently recovered from financial uncertainty.

Horrible customer service from Nicole. I went up to the register for a return and she did not say a single word I told her I was there for a return and she just took my order. She was fiddling with her nails while I was waiting for her to finish the return. I asked her a question and she was very rude and answered with attitude. When she finished my return she only handed me my receipt and again not a single word. Never had a bad experience with express before until now. It’s 6:15pm on Sunday. Express is supposed to close at 7pm. I asked around and a employee at H&M next door said that this Express location has been closing earlier.
