Very importantLast week, a Hispanic Macy’s clothes employee named DELORES, accused me of wearing clothes that I was trying to take back, because she said that a sticker was not on the dress shirt. I told her I did not wear the clothes and that sticker didn’t even come with the dress shirt, but she rudely cut me off and said that I did wear it, implying that I was lying to her.
To sum it all up, the manager, Juan, came and proved that I was right and Delores proved herself wrong by not doing her due diligence to check that the dress shirt brand that I purchased did not come with that sticker on the shirt.
To make it worse for herself, Delores did not even apologize to me. I had to point out to her manager, Juan, that Delores didn’t apologize to me for being rude and accusing me. After I pointed this out, Delores then gave me an insincere, forced apology, and was still being rude, all infront of her manager, Juan. Juan agreed and saw all of this.
Delores did not even check to see where the dress shirt came from to find out that none of those shirts had that sticker on them, that she accused me of taking off and not having. Her manager, Juan, did the right thing by walking over to the clothes rack to find that the sticker was not on any of those shirts, and said that I was right. He also said I was right because the clothes did not have any indications that I wore them, like missing tags, body fragrance, rings around the collars.
Delores proved her foolishness and ignorance by not checking these before her manager came over. Juan told me that there have been many complaints on Delores already. This all could have been avoided, if she did her due diligence and checked the
I will not be going back to this department store because of Delores, and Macy’s Culver City will continue losing business from other patrons, if they still keep this employee. Delores should be fired, and I will have my other colleagues I know that work there checking to see if she’s still there. If we find that Delores still works there, then we will make this situation known to higher ups at Macy's and headquarters, and other other media outlets...
Read moreTotal chaos and unprofessionalism what's displayed today. I returned some Chanel perfume that I received as a gift since I already own Chanel for Carolina Herrera good girls the clerk at the perfume counter explain to me that I could have a gift card or charge back to the debit card for the credit balance. She gave me a gift card and I continued shopping in Macy's try to utilize the gift card to find out there was nothing on it no money at all on it. I went back to her and it took 40 minutes for her to find someone to assist her with correcting this issue. Meanwhile prior to trying to use the card I went to the shoe department and requested a pair of shoes to try on it took the staff there over 35 to 45 minutes to find the shoes in my size after they located them and I tried to purchase them they advised me that the gift card had no money on it and sent me back to the Carolina Herrera stand where I had returned the Chanel to correct the issue with the gift card. Upon my re arriving to the shoe department to purchase the shoes after getting cash back from my credit from the perfume stand they could not find the shoes that they were holding for me in the shoe department so that I could go correct the issue with the perfume Department. I had to actually become enraged before someone with stop and go find the shoes and allow me to purchase the shoes that I had selected previously this was a nightmare the whole thing took me near 2 hours to do a simple return and purchase I'm very disappointed in the service I received at the Fox Hills Macy's I will not go there anymore I will not return to use the service is there no one apologized and they all acted like I was being unreasonable unbelievable I've never seen such poor service in a department store. I am also a bronze member of the Macy's set up you have there which I don't think I received any credit on my points for Bronze Membership there due to all this confusion that was simply cast of The Wayside they never asked me to give her my phone number on the machine which would have given me credit I'm very...
Read moreThe customer service is terrible! Theres no interest in actually assisting the customer. It's only ringing up. It's hard to find out who is working and who are customers. The shoe department has the worst selection of shoes and even worse salespeople. after waiting around for about 15 min for anyone to assist, I ran out in the mall to see if any others stores might have better shoes right before 9. Being unlucky I didn't find anything else within the mall and went back to Macy's. It took another 15 mins and me picking up a ton of shoes finally got someone's attention. The salesperson approached me, but did not ask if he could help he told me that he needed the shoe in my hand. So my mother that was with me asked if he was going to help, but he replys quickly saying that it was the last shoe and then walks away. Mind you I still have more shoes than that in my hand. He then comes back after we're waiting yet again and then says that the shoe he took from me was the last shoe in a specific size and not the last shoe like he said to us. I look like he's got three heads and ask him if he could pull my size. He takes forever to bring me two pairs of shoes and then disappears again. After not liking the shoes, I then to go ask him for another. He says he'll get them in a minute and goes back to what he's doing. 10 minutes later no shoes, no salesman, and still not any good service. I pick up the shoe and brought it to a saleswoman named Iris and she brought it out for me as quick as she could. When the other man sees her bringing out a shoe he walks over to me and my mother and then gives the worst apology I've ever heard and I've worked in the retail industry since I was 15. To wrap this up Iris helped us so quickly and efficiently that I was somewhat happier than when I walked...
