Sizzler — Restaurant in Culver City

This is by far the worst Sizzler we have ever been to. The food was so bad I sent it back and just asked for a refund, I never do that.

Parking is easy in their lot. The place is not clean enough to my standards. The bathrooms were very clean. The salad bar was so boring. Other Sizzlers have a nice selection. This was not.

We walked into order, you order right when you walk in. There is not a huge menu like other Sizzlers. I ordered a burger rare and I was very clear about rare. I was asked if I wanted fries or a baked potato. I thought those were my only choices, I ordered the baked potato with no sour cream. My husband ordered a steak rare and was shown side choices that I was never offered on a little card near where you stand at the counter. He ordered a baked potato. I had no idea they also had garlic mashed and a few others. I did not want to confuse so I let it go. Really bad way to market.

We went in and found a booth which needed my napkin to clean it. It had already been their idea of clean. Not mine. A server came by took our receipt and asked if we wanted some garlic bread. It never came. Our food arrived and my burger was medium well. Gross. My baked potato was filled with sour cream. I tasted my burger and though I am not eating this. I sent it back to have it and the potato done right. My husbands steak was medium. He just ate it. He was not thrilled. My food came back and again the burger was overcooked. The baked potato had no softness to it. And where is that bread. Not coming, ever. I tried to eat this way over cooked burger and I was done. I sent it back and said just take it off the bill. No one came to say sorry, our server sort of disappeared off the planet. My husband was bummed because he knew I would not be having dinner at all. Oh well.

I was so disappointed. I will never go back and again not one person came to say we messed up, sorry....

I have been eating here for the last 3 months, and the service, and food quality have gone way down. I ordered takeout a couple of wks. ago walked across the street and sat down to eat, and butterfly crispy shrimp, rice pilaf were cold. Went back a few days later because I am a regular customer, and was given a courtesy breakfast. Almost cheated at the register but I caught it in time. Next, I dined in and shrimp skewers were cold and under cooked ( I ordered them extra crispy). Finally I was cheated at the register, ordered a senior salad bar, and was charged $14.49 for a dinner salad bar at 11:51 a.m. in the morning. When I went over my receipts I discovered the overcharge, went back and told the manager and was refunded three dollars. Today I went for $9.99 salad bar mon. thru thurs. and a child size strawberry lemonade, which they had sold to a family the day before for $1.29. The manager told the cashier to go ahead and let me have the drink, but the cashier who was so rude to me, said u can get it today but no more! I handed her my visa card and she snatched it out of my hand. I canceled and left. My patience is long, as I am 70 yrs. old now, but this is the deal breaker. I AM DONE WITH SIZZLER ON SEPULVEDA IN CULVER CITY FOR GOOD! Carpet also could stand a good STEAM CLEANING, OR SHAMPOO, since I don't believe it has been since they opened back up after covid closure. That is why I got takeout so often. I even suggested they have outdoor patio, but was told to contact corporate ofcs. for that. This is a long review, but it is all true. If I could not have left one star they would not have gotten any. I ate there so often I should have stock in...

This is a great family style restaurant as well as a nice example of your classic Sizzler. We frequent this restaurant and enjoy it so much so as a family my eight year old nephew begged me to post his review of the restaurant so here it is: "Well, I like Sizzler because first the parking is sometimes hard to find but it's always good. And when you come in the lines never more than two groups long and you never have to wait and the bathrooms are always clean. It's one of those restaurants where you order right at the desk so when you get to your seat you just wait for the food you don't have to go through the trouble of waiting extra to order. The people that are always nice, and the cheese bread is worth coming there and not ordering anything else. The bathrooms are always clean and whenever you order they normally only take about 10 minutes which isn't really not that long. Also the bathrooms are always clean and the food is I don't even know the word for how delicious it is. I normally get a cheeseburger and it normally takes me a lot of time to finish because it's just so good and the cheese is always really melted in a good way and they let you put on your own toppings. And to top it off there's a soft serve and they have maybe 15 toppings. In conclusion, I highly recommend Sizzler to anybody who's reading this but...
