I was really lucky to have found this delicious food! I was near the highway, was starving, and had a giant appetite for Thai food!! So, I looked into Google Maps for Thai restaurants near me, and Nara Thai came up; I consider myself as a very picky person, so I naturally read some reviews and watched some pictures of the place. When I got to the place it didn’t seem so nice from the outside and the businesses around it either, but when I got on the inside, the place was really nice and cozy. Their menu had a lot of different dishes, but I knew exactly what I was looking forward eating! So, I wanted to eat some curry with chicken, but they had 5 different kind of curries, which I had never tried before, as far as I knew there only existed a yellow one (lol), so the waiter was very nice and recommended me one, the RED curry, and as I’m a spring roll lover, of course I had to order some too!! I was impressed by the time the spring rolls came my way, as I’m used to other Thai restaurants which only bring 2 pieces, I got 4 and some side salad! There is no need to say they tasted delicious and the peanut sauce was delicious too!!!! And when my red curry came, I had a fantastic and tasteful experience, it had bamboos inside, and a good portion of chicken. At the time of paying, I would have thought it would be very expensive, but it actually was cheaper than other places. I paid for the spring rolls $6 and $11 for the curry which was obviously worth the price! I would love to come back and try some other plates in the future!

Nara Thai isn’t the best Thai around but it’s usually solid enough and our family has been eating here for years. Unfortunately we will no longer be coming here due to a significant issue with the food last week. We ordered takeout via DoorDash and all seemed well enough until the end of our meal. My daughter was done with her Thai fried rice kids meal so I took a scoop of it and started chewing. Immediately I felt a crack on my tooth and bit into something hard. Upon spitting out all the rice in my mouth I found a pebble. I looked in my mouth and the corner of one of my molars had cracked off. When I called Nara Thai the lady tried to just offer me a refund of the kids meal. I told her I had to go to the dentist and she then said the manager wasn’t in and would call me tomorrow. A week has gone by and no call back. Meanwhile I’m possibly looking at a $500 crown repair. We are done with Nara Thai. If my daughter had bitten into that pebble it would have been way worse. Their lack of follow up is unacceptable. I will be following up with them once my dentist confirms the extent of the repair required.

Absolutely rubbish customer service, portions ridiculously small from what it’s supposed to be, changes to way they make food has just bought this place to absolute zero for me. You have to call them and tell them if you want your veggies sautted really really.. isn’t it your responsibility to tell us u are changing the way you prepare food . How’s the customer suppose to know you are changing the way you prepare food. Absolutely useless curries just watered down so much rice literally floats. Fried rice under cooked and tasteless. To top it off the flavor is just not there it’s just an absolute shame. I use to order every week but not any more. Looks like you just prepare a big batch of food and just serve a portion of it with boiled veggies not fresh not tasty anymore Customer service on the top is also just not there at all. Spend 100$ + and left utterly disappointed. Sorry but this isn’t for us any more.

We have been coming to Nara Thai for years now (even when it was still called Anothai) but I believe this will be our last visit (11/27/24). Place was not busy at all but service was very slow. It took 20 minutes to get our Spring Rolls - and when we got them, while hot on the outside, they were literally still frozen in the middle. Unfortunately, after our waiter - who we found out is also the acting manager - did not return to our table for over 10 minutes after dropping them off and that was only because we had to have the person working the take out counter flag him down. When we advised him, he simply took them from our table and did not offer to replace them, and, we had to ask him to remove them from our bill. A few minutes later, entree arrived. I had pad thai chicken, and after the first bite, I noticed a bug crawling on the plate. He came back over and we showed him and he again took the dish, again not offering to replace it (and at this point I was thoroughly disgusted and no longer had an appetite.) My wife no longer wanted her meal either. All we got out of him was "sorry". Not, "let me take these off your bill" or "let me offer you a dinner at a later date" or anything kind of remorse - just total indifference. We wasted almost 45 minutes without eating here. We could have gotten past the awful food preparation and health issues if were handled differently, but not the complete apathy from the manager. We won't be going back. Plenty of other Thai...

We walked in and we were not greeted at all. Every employee seen us walk in and didnt say a thing. We felt awkward because we didnt know if we had to wait or just seat ourselves so we ended up just sitting at any table. Figured we had to wait to be seated since e go to the Louetta location and they normally seat us. It took 15 mins for them to finally ask us what we'd like to drink. I asked them to bring us silverware and they brought us plastic silverware. I guess they were too lazy to roll up some silverwear for us in the cloth. We ordered and the food was delicious! No complaints. When the food came, we asked for silverwear again because we didnt want plastic ones. She just put 3 forks on our table on a plate. A caucasian man was the main one helping us with things we needed. He was great! He did the waiters job basically. The only thing the asian Male waiter did was take our order. That's about it! Terrible customer service. I never had such a bad experience eating out. When we were asking for change for a tip, that was then the only time the Male asian waiter decided to be paying attention to us. We instead tipped the caucasian male because he was the man...
