Truly, the Cypress location deserves "0" stars. I ordered a pair of Alexander McQueen shoes online in a size 40. When they arrived, I opened the box to discover 1 shoe was a size 40, the other shoe was a size 38. I called customer support, explained and asked if I could return them to any store. The rep confirmed I could and sent me an email for the in-store return option.
Today, 1/16/23 I went to the Cypress, TX store to do a return. The cashier began the return after I showed her the email. She then said she had to verify something and walked away. She returned and told me I have to mail the item back to do a return and I need to contact customer service. I told her, as I just previously stated, I've already contacted customer service, not only did they tell me I could return the shoes to any Off 5th location but also sent me an email that cleary states "return in store". The cashier was speaking to someone she claims is a manager named Aeriel on her headset. This person was literally standing steps away, in view. I asked to speak with a manager and this Aeriel person came over.
Aeriel tried to tell me they cannot accept online returns and that I have to mail the return back. I told her the same thing I told the cashier and showed her the email I was provided with by customer service. After going back and forth and her continuing to lie and say they cannot refund the item because it was purchased online, finally she proceeded to process the return. She then turned her back while I was still standing at the register. I continued standing there waiting for a "thank you", "sorry for the trouble", something. She proceeded to walk away without saying anything so I went to ask if that was it, and without stopping, turning to me or making eye contact, she nastily replied "we're done".
I asked one of the other cashiers if there was another manager there I can speak to. She said Aeriel is the only manager. I told her I was not done speaking to Aeriel and she needs to learn a better way to handle customers. She said she would go get Aeriel. As I walked over to the shoe area, the cashier came from the back and said Aeriel is on a call. I could hear them talking while I was standing there. Aeriel was not on a call. She was too much of a rude, disrepectful coward to come back out and face me.
If this Aeriel is really a manager, it speaks to the type of people that work there. She is in no way fit to be a leader. She's tacky, ignorant and unprofessional. I asked the cashier for the name of the next higher up manager and the info for corporate. She refused to give me any info. I called customer service and was placed on an excessive hold to be escalated only to be told they only have an email for customer service. Saks Off 5th is just that, OFF! I will never give my business to a store that treats consumers like this.
Aeriel was likely trying to avoid doing a refund for an item they cannot sell because it's 2 mis-matched shoes. Too bad! This is not my fault as a customer that I paid that type of money for a high end designer pair of shoes and was sent 2 different size shoes. This is yet proof of the level of incompetence with the people they employ. There is no way any intelligent person would ship shoes without ensuring they are both the same size prior to boxing and prepping for shipping.
Thanks for the refund that I was due Aeriel. I hope it counts against the Cypress store and you! Your corporate store will be hearing more about...
Read moreWhat a horrible Saks Fifth, we know that is Saks Fifth Off but seriously, I was completely in shock seeing what they have in stock. The clothes were horrible, the shoes were just plastic and fake leather, the purses were not very nice either. Perfumes and colognes were worse than Ross or Marshals and super overpriced for the quality of products and brands. No kidding, I went to Walmart Supercenter to buy some cleaning products we needed, and I was surprised with the amount of sweaters, shirts, blouses, and many other items they had and the prices were amazing for the quality of those products. I used to care for some name brands because they used to make their clothes in The USA, but now, everything is made in China, India, Vietnam and paying high prices for that, is not worth it. I went there searching for shoes and perfumes, at the end they are Saks 5th Outlet, you are expecting Saks quality but discounted, noooo, it was worse than going to a Ross store. Perfumes and Colognes were ancient like Azzaro or Obsession for men and for women they had all the cheapest and also ancient brands of Bulgary and others that nobody knows. Seriously nothing was attractive to the eye, and man made material shoes “meaning plastic” from Cole Hann, Vince Cammuto, and other brands have main stores in that Shopping Mall, with much better and newer styles and 40% to 50% cheaper. They also had shoes that were for sure used and returned after they used them. They were plastic shoes and You could see the soles of the shoes were made of white rubber and the bottom of the soles were completely black of being used. And they had the guts to ask $29 for them. That was disgusting. That is an insult to the customers, we are not in a second hand store!!! I remember long time ago going to the outlet they have in San Marcos, and they had much better stuff. Although many years ago, who knows how is now. We also wanted to pay for a projector that we found to try it when we travel short trips, and they had only 2 cashiers that were not friendly either and they were taking forever to take care of anyone that was trying to pay. No kidding even Marshals has better clothes than this store, a lot of cashiers and much better prices. What happened to the High End Quality of this...
Read moreI'm not sure how I'm feeling about my experience. Some would say, than don't say anything, but Google asked so. My experience, I purchased a luggage online, they sent the wrong one, I called 290 Premium Outlet branch and was told 3 times, she doubled down, that i could not return it there. I proceeded to return online and noticed how boldly Saks said i can return at the store, so i decided to send an email to Saks Online to tell them that they're putting the face2face employees in a uncomfortable situation. I called back the store to ask 1 last time, the 4th I was told you have to mail it back. I said okay, my I please have your name and she wanted to know why, i started explaining why and that I didn't want to do a broad swèep on my email, I then heard someone else on the line and they asked how they can help. I was a bit put off, because i just explained it to someone and they just walked away and gace someone else the phone. That person said they were a Manager and no they so not take returns from online. I said okay,, my I have your name. She have me her name and then continued to say she'll make an exception and i just need to bring it back. I drove up there went to the register and told the young lady there that i was returning an online puecahse, she said they don't do online returns. 😧😶😔🥺🥺😮💨😮💨. I asked to speak with the Manager. The manager came and took the return. Okay, that's my experience. Right now I'm indifferent. I'm not sure about...
