Shame on the worker, hopefully not the owner, who said openly to a couple in the store( this past Monday), that she could tell that they were not tourist because they had not yet asked where the bathroom was or spit out what was in their mouth on the floor! While not a complete tourist, we have a place up here and spend months at a time in Dahlonega, we do not live here year round and found this conversation to be offensive at best. I’m pretty sure it’s those tourist that keep your business open. There’s not much in your store that would seem to have the locals shopping here to keep you afloat.
