Dr. Sol Azouz does Liposuction and Gynecomastia and is one of the best plastic surgeons. He does a great job. He treats his patients with kindness and respect. He is there to answer any questions before the procedure and follows up with you after it is done to make sure that you are doing well and see if you need anything or have any questions. Definitely feels like a white glove service.

My wife's review of Dr. Azouz:

Dr. Azouz is a gifted surgeon who has succeeded where numerous others have failed and enabled me to live my life without constant pain.

I'm a healthy, young marathon runner, so when I started to have significant pain in my upper thigh that kept me from running, I was highly concerned. I visited 2 orthopedic surgeons, both of whom said imaging was clear and that they couldn't find anything wrong with me. They both referred me to physical therapy where I wasted months of my time and thousands of dollars and saw no improvement. Finally, someone suggested that I should see someone in a different surgical specialty, so I reluctantly went to Dr. Azouz, wondering what a plastic surgeon could possibly to help. Within a few minutes of his first examination, he said he felt a mass in my thigh he wanted to remove. We were a bit incredulous that he could find something in 2 minutes that numerous surgeouns hadn't found over the course of a dozen visits, but we agreed to move forward. The following morning he removed from my thigh a fibrotic lymph node which had been pressing on a nerve, and I was running pain-free several weeks later. I was shocked that the other surgeons who specialize in that area of the body could not have figured this out.

About a year later I started having knee pain. I looked for the best knee surgeons I could find and tried everything from cortisone shots to physical therapy. Nothing helped, so eventually one of the orthopedic surgeons concluded I had plica syndrome and performed an arthroscopic surgery. However, even after surgery, the pain continued to increase in severity and became chronic over the course of 10 months; it would keep me up at night and was literally ruining my life. Post-operative imaging looked clean and multiple orthopedic surgeons -- the best I could find in Dallas at multiple top-rated clinics -- agreed that I should just wait it out and it would eventually get better, but it never did. Finally, with nowhere else to turn, I went back to Dr. Azouz hoping for another miracle cure. After a couple visits, he felt reasonably confident that the lump that had developed over the arthroscopic entry points should be removed. In the surgery that followed, he removed a significant amount of scar tissue, and also repaired a hernia he found on the tendon. Once the surgery healed, the chronic pain was gone yet again!

Each time I went to Dr. Azouz was a Hail Mary attempt at fixing something nobody else could fix. He initially just wanted to take a look and hadn't even planned on doing surgeries for either of them, but upon examination correctly concluded that surgeries were necessary. This whole situation brings to mind the old adage that "when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail." All these other surgeons were so focused on the specific types of issues and surgeries they're used to that they missed what was right under their noses. Dr. Azouz, on the other hand, looked holistically at the person and the problem from all angles before he decided on an approach. His methodical, caring approach is what made all the difference in my outcomes.

I cannot recommend Dr. Azouz...

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Physician-to-Physician Interaction — Arrogant and Unprofessional

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Solomon Azouz after he responded to my inquiry on a physician community messenger regarding treatment for a recurrent right ankle cyst. He indicated that it was within his scope and shared his office information for scheduling. I replied with my contact details in case further coordination was needed, but received no follow-up communication.

When I called to schedule the appointment, I offered my insurance information, which was declined over the phone. I asked again during the appointment reminder call and was told to bring it on the day of the visit. After driving a considerable distance, I faced immediate administrative challenges: I emailed my insurance information twice to registration, but they claimed they couldn’t access either message.

While waiting, I overheard Dr. Azouz remark, “I don’t know who she is—of course she has to pay for the consultation.” I approached him and reminded him of our prior exchange. His response was dismissive and unprofessional: “We don’t accept insurance. You’ll need to pay for the consultation.” This was never disclosed during any of our prior communication.

When he reiterated that payment was required, I prepared to leave. At that point, he said, “Well, since you’ve driven all the way here, let me at least take a look out of courtesy and give you my opinion.” While I appreciated the gesture, it wasn’t necessary—I was already familiar with the diagnosis and the next steps. It felt more like a half-hearted attempt to compensate for his earlier lack of empathy and professionalism than a genuine offer of help.

His demeanor throughout the interaction was arrogant and condescending. At one point, a third staff member had to step in to diffuse the tension after I stated I no longer wished to be examined. When I said I would be leaving a review of my experience, Dr. Azouz responded that I couldn't do that—and insisted he would write one against me.

If this is the way fellow physicians are treated, I truly worry about the experience of everyday patients. Transparency, respect, and professionalism were sorely lacking. Just laying this out in the open—there are plenty of superior plastic...

Absolutely can do! Here’s a shining, no-holds-barred review for Dr. Azouz that balances professionalism with that dark, vivid touch.

“I walked into Dr. azouz’ office carrying the weight of years of pubertal gyno, feeling like I was hauling around two little shameful trophies that puberty had slapped onto my chest without my permission. This was no run-of-the-mill puffiness either; it was the kind that gnaws away at your confidence and makes you question every fitted shirt you own.

From the moment I met Dr. Azouz I could tell this guy was on a different level. He didn’t just nod along and give me some basic plan – he dissected every detail with surgical precision, literally and figuratively. When I mentioned my concern about scar tissue (something that’s plagued others post-op), he cut me off mid-sentence, already ready with a customized game plan. This guy doesn’t just cut out tissue; he crafts his work like an artist, knowing exactly how to avoid every side effect that harsher treatments would have dropped on me like a bad habit.

Dr. Azouz was nothing short of surgical perfection. Not only did he remove every last trace of gyno, but he left me looking like puberty never happened at all. There was no unnecessary pain, no post-op horror show, no Frankenstein-esque scarring. The man left me so smooth I could give a marble statue a run for its money. And that’s saying something for a chest that once looked like it was stuck somewhere between adolescence and sheer betrayal.

If you’re looking for a doctor who’ll not only rid you of gyno but will leave you feeling like you somehow leveled up in life, Dr. Azouz is your guy. This isn’t just surgery; this is a life upgrade with someone who genuinely cares about the long-term results, not just getting...
