Doctor Mathew is excellent. However, I can’t say the same about his staff members. I will be as specific as I can. The front desk receptionists on D220 are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered. Upon approaching the desk, no greetings … one of the receptionists had no shoes on as she’s scrolling through her phone . No direction or information was given to us. I waited in the waiting area for 45 mins to see the doctor . Thanks to my suspicions, I went up to ask how long until I’ll see the doctor. They then informed me that I was supposed on the first floor ( why was this not being communicated to me since the beginning?) On top of the unprofessional staff members , can we mention the wait time to see the doctor. My appointment was at 1:15pm . I waited almost 5 hours to be seen by the doctor for 5 mins . This could been a phone call . This is not my first time here at this office . If my oncologist in fort worth didn’t refer me here , I would have had to come . Every procedure done is straight “ outpatient service “ which costs an arm and leg . For my personal opinion, I feel as if everything is about money pushing . It’s not about the...

The providers here are great. Dr. Bhushan, Dr. Mathews and PA Katie are great. However the call center and the nurses do not have any kind of compassion, sympathy, or empathy for the patients they serve. What people have been saying is correct. They call you when it’s convenient for them, with no urgency to any matter. My mother had a BMT and unfortunately this is the only location she can come to. When I asked for advance notice for her appointments- they call me 12-14hrs before her next schedule appointment. I mean seriously? People need advance notice to get things in order especially since some of us do work. I work for a big healthcare system and I run 2 very busy very successful clinics and this is not the way to treat patients and patients family members. Soon you all will have a lawsuit on your hands if you all continue to be careless. Call center, nurses and front office staff need to attend some kind of compassion education. The girls in the front don’t pay attention to you because they are too busy on TikTok. Management should be very proud of this...

I was charged nearly EIGHT TIMES what I owed, even after I mentioned to the receptionist my coinsurance is only 10% and asked if the amount was right. Lo and behold, the EOB came through stating I owe a much, much smaller amount than I was charged. I have now been waiting TWO MONTHS for the refund and was told it could take THREE MONTHS for a refund. That is completely ridiculous. I'll write a separate review about how awful the specialist's office was, but for now I'll just issue you the warning to not let them charge you way more than you owe. I have since switched to UT Southwestern, and they do not even bill you until after insurance pays and they know the right amount. TX Oncology is VERY shady and will sit on your money for months. I am debating disputing the charge with my credit card company. Do not pay them with a debit card, or you may never...
