To be honest, I didn't really believe in chiropractic work for most of my life. How can these small adjustments possibly do anything?? I've had pain in my upper left shoulder for years, but a little adjustment to how I'm sitting and it became tolerable, so I just dealt with it...... for 12 years.
I am 28 and relatively healthy, but a car wreck at 18 has curved my spine. I went to a chiropractor about 10 years ago, but she had very little interest in me and didn't really take her time getting to know my body. Unfortunately, I gave up. I had no idea the effects my back was having on me.
I checked into 100% Chiropractic VERY skeptical. We did x-rays and a thorough assessment of my body. Dr. Keith was interested in my spine, my shape, my body, my daily activities, and my life in general. He was so kind and thorough. He paid so much attention to the details I decided to give it a shot.
1 week: yeah my back had a good week, but it was just a coincidence, right? 2 weeks: Hmm, another good week. It was awesome being able to sit however I wanted with very little pain. 3 weeks: Wow.. the pain was almost never happening. I actually felt more energized as well. This couldn't be JUST because of Dr. Keith? What else did I change in my lifestyle I could relate this to? One month: I was up earlier, I felt like working out, my back pain was practically gone, and wow... I lost a couple pounds.
It has now been only 4 months. I am 22 pounds lighter, I have more energy, and I am ultimately happier! I even got a promotion at work because of how much more aware I was, how much more I could do, and how positive I became.
It's crazy how much Dr. Keith has changed my life. I have sent several people to him (obviously) and I've become the "genius" that found him! My advise? Just go talk to him if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Carr and Dr. Hernandez are at 100% Chiropractic. I was not that familiar with Dallas, and just coming off of a serious medical event. I was very sore after surgery and experiencing vertigo and nausea- I didn't want to add any more prescription pills into my system. I called after seeing an online special. Alyssa answered the phone, she was so nice and explained to me what the 1st time visitor coupon deal was all about- sounded really great and she booked me that day. I couldn't believe how nice the office was and how nice the staff was. I met Dr. Carr, I told him- "I'm coming off a bad bout of chemo and I can't move my neck and when I do I'm dizzy as hell. I don't want anymore shots or pills- Can you help me?" He had me in for the in house xrays, went over them with me in great detail, did an assessment, and the next day, both he and Dr. Hernandez helped me through my first adjustment and I couldn't believe that I felt better in 10 minutes than I had in 6 months. Both doctors are very caring and kind, and also I like the way their system and office runs very smoothly and they also never forget a patients background or recent health troubles. That is very important. I don't get down to the office as much as I should, but I blame 100% Chiropractic for their help in making me well again, so I am able to work full time and enjoy family and friends, so scheduling is difficult. :D Oh- and another thing, they don't punch you in the wallet when you go there! Their treatment plan is very affordable. No doubt. Any pathology, background, body size, or age, Dr. Carr and Dr. Hernandez will work with you! Trust me, I know this for fact. And shout out to the other hard working office-admin-sweetheart, Ruby. Thanks for everything, guys! You are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off, I bought the Groupon for the massage not the chiropractics, but due to policy I was required to do the x-rays & adjustment first. It is within the consult on your x-rays that they convince you of how you need to get on their plan for adjustments 3 x wk and buy their spinal correction kit. That first adjustment on my neck was so painful I had to pay for a massage elsewhere to provide some relief. The next time a nerve in my back got pinched, which cut off partial circulation in my right arm and led to my back spasming out. I could barely move for days. Then after a week of that pain finally resolving he performed an incredibly forceful adjustment to my scapula, which led to the anterior sublexation of 2 ribs. The sound of my ribs dislocating was so loud everyone in the clinic heard it I'm sure. That was the most excruciating pain I have had in my life and did not let up for 6 weeks. I had to miss work because I could not lift or even take a breath without wanting to cry. Lastly, was the manual adjustment where he tried to put the ribs back in from behind knocking the wind out of me and leaving my scapula and back, rhomboid, and pectoral muscles in awful pain for days after. I emailed and called Dr. Carr but he refused to respond. When I did finally get him to talk he showed no empathy or willingness to work with me on finding another practitioner to help heal/correct the mess he made. To the date he still refuses to even refund my money from the appointments or posture pump I was told I needed to buy. I had to search for someone who could help and get therapy elsewhere totaling up to $1000. To top it off I didn't even receive my massage until the aftermath of all of this. This was the most awful experience I have ever had in all my years of getting...
