PLEASE LOOK OVER YOUR CHECK BEFORE PAYING, we frequent this olace atleast twice a month for the last 2 years and after last night will no longer be returning. Last night i recommended to a couple of co-workers to meet here for dinner (it was their first and last time). We had to go find the waiter to come take our order, he came over took our order and left? What about the other to couples? I had to go find him again to tell him that everyone else also needed to order. My food was wrong i order the plate with 2 beef and 1 chicken enchilada and asked for cheese on top instead or the chili con carne sauce, they bring all beef enchiladas no chicken and the beef tasted so old and dry like it had been sitting for awhile. I asked the waitress doesnt it come with a chicken enchilada and she said we make it how you order it and i was trying to explain thats not how i ordered it. Long story short i ate the rice and beans and put the rest in a box. When i got my check for 3 people not "6" it was 98.00 they charged me 9.99 for a whole extra plate, and 3.50 for a "large" 16 oz? Drink. Ontop of horrible service and wrong food they imposed a 18% tip on my check? When we asked the cashier she said because we were a party of 6 or more. We were a party of 3, my co workers were parties of 2. So between 7 adults all the checks together added up to 300.00 and almost 60.00 in tips. If you glance at your check it almost looks like tax but they are adding tip on small partied BEWARE. PLEASE LOOK OVER YOUR CHECK. Ill add a picture of mine for reference. So all of this a mistake? Nope, all of our checks were mischarged, they charged my co-worker 11.50 for margarita that according to the cashier was 6.50 and then more than 20% tip!!!!! After reading other reviews i see others having the same issue with food why isnt the owner fixing these issues? Since the manager was to busy to talk to us. Your losing customers and over charging us, looks like you are losing regulars, the customers are the ones keeping the doors open. Dont financially take advantage of the people that are using your facility. I WANT THE FORCED 15.00 TIP AND 12.95 FOR MY WRONG PLATE THAT FOOD WAS NOT FRESH RETURNED ON MY CARD. STOP MISCHARGING PEOPLE AND GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A MANAGER THAT CARES ABOUT THE ISSUES. Look up Texas laws about them forcing gratuity i wish i would have known...
Read moreWe use to go to this place pretty often. You could call us regulars. Food was good, good atmosphere. We went in a few months ago. We noticed that they changed the menu. My favorite thing to eat and only thing I would order wasn't there. Chicken gorditas. They did have the beef though. When the waiter came I ordered what I have ordered for the past 5 years. Chicken gorditas. He said, im sorry but we only make the beef version. I was like, I was only coming in for my favorite dish, chicken gorditas. Could you please request that for me?" He then proceeded to say"no I can't." So I was like WOW! So I ordered some chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce on top. When the food came out, my food was falling off the plate. It was a mess. The enchiladas were dry. At this point, I'm very unhappy with everything. My daughter ordered a chicken taco. Just a side note, the chicken they used for her taco is the EXACT same chicken that was used for my chicken gorditas... just an FYI. After dinner we paid and went to the "mandatory" valet guy... he went to go get our car and hit our car in front of our eyes! I ran inside the restaurant after seeing this and let the owner, who was standing near the cashier know what had happened. He didn't say I'm sorry, or is anyone hurt? All he said was you need to take it up with valet. I was SHOCKED! as an owner of a business myself, I'm going to get involved and go outside and go see what's going on with the valet company I hired for my business for my clients coming in to my restaurant! I then went back outside and my husband at this point was trying to get the valet guy's insurance and drivers license. The guy begged us not to call his insurance company as he has had a lot of similar incidents. Is this all a joke??! FOOD: YES, THE Best esp for the great price point lunch special at $9. IMPRESSIVE highest quality; home-made from scratch; and they use fresh REAL food. (They do NOT use fake artificial food or food from a chemist’s laboratory that has been canned or frozen with chemicals, nitrates, sodium and preservatives shipped across the nation. Other places use disgusting “rubber” meat. Other places use fake artificial so-call cheese made from processed oils.) Yes, they cook the fresh chicken and meat, then have kitchen prep meticulously debone the freshly cooked meat – again, homemade from scratch by hand. Wow WONDERFUL, Mexico Lindo uses expensive REAL cheese and sour cream made from God’s cows. The sauces are made fresh from the perfect blend of spices. Ice tea was Texas Good. Chips yes, were fresh and hot and tasty hot sauces. This is magnificent REAL food and cooking from the heart, how it used to be in the previous mid-20th century. Only one minus: they use margarine and not butter. This establish performs, delivers and EXCELS. This restaurant gets an "A+". The ATMOSPHERE and decor are beautiful.
