We booked a table of 10 for a birthday dinner. Worst decision for the celebration.
Whole party arrived pretty much all within 10 mins of each other and drink orders were taken very quickly. One beer took 20 mins to arrive after all other drinks have arrived and appetizers ordered and almost finished. Food orders were placed at the same time as the appetizers. 5 pizzas, 2 pastas and 1 salad. The pastas and salads arrived promptly after the appetizers were basically done, but the salad came without dressing. The guest requested the salad dressing and the waiter acknowledged the missing dressing and then never returned. 35 mins into eating the pastas, the salad dressing and pizzas were still not at the table. The guest who ordered the salad decided to go up to the kitchen to ask for the dressing and saw our waiter just hanging out at the counter by the oven. She returned with her dressing and started on her salad. 25 mins later the guest with the salad fished her salad and the 5 guests who ordered pizzas still have not received their food. At this point we are at about 1 hour after the pastas have arrived at the table. Flagged down the waiter to ask about the pizzas, he said he would check on it and then immediately returned with all the pizzas for everyone. The pizzas weren’t super hot to the touch, meaning they have been sitting on the counter for a while but not delivered to our table. The whole time we were there, which is about 2 hours, the waiter only came by to fill water twice. Got the bill, due to party size, a 20% gratuity was already added to the bill, so we could t even tip according to the service we’ve received. The group thought about asking for the manager, but unanimously decided we will not return again so there is no point.
We go to this location multiple times a year with large parties, each bill would’ve been over $400. Thanks to this experience you’ve just lost out on potentially a couple thousand dollars of...
Read moreMy husband and I went to eat here tonight. We ordered our food, got the appetizer and husbands salad. Waited for our food and they bring out my husband's food first. He ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo. His food sat on our table for 20 minutes while we still waited on mine. I ordered a CBF pizza (on their menu) nothing special. After the waiter came and told us there were still 4 tickets in front of mine I told him to cancel it as I didn't want to wait any longer for a pizza. We had already been there for over an hour. The manager came to the table after speaking to the pizza staff and was about to give an excuse when I told him I didn't want to hear it and just wanted to cancel the pizza. We were still charge full price for my husband's cold Alfredo as he always waits to eat with me as most couples do when you go to dinner together. Would have made sense for the staff to let us know ahead of time that the pizza was backed up so I could have made the decision to wait on it or order something else. Also would have made sense for them to not make my husband's food until mine was close to going in. I would not recommend this place as the manager was not even sympathetic about the situation. We definitely will not be going back. All of this was after trying to order from them on Door dash and it not going through and we even called them to see if they were still taking orders and was advised they were. We chose to go in as when we tried to order again it would not go through. So when we get there the manager advised us that he had just gotten DoorDash fixed. He offered to buy us a dessert when we walked in however had no sympathy or remorse for the restaurant dropping the ball in our food. Instead he brought us the check and took our card and charged the...
Read moreCane Rosso publicly using the “f word” to express their frustrations about customers who call in orders and don’t pick them up. So unprofessional I will never go back. The service has already started going downhill and you can see how they stand behind using that language. The guy who handles the marketing should be removed, such arrogance . ( just my opinion or at least trained with some Dale Carnegie principles)
Since the owner and marketing manager share the same views let me clarify this and make this more clear. First and foremost you should never post a client's name publicly. Secondly, using derogatory words towards your client base is appalling. Even when I brought this it your attention you made no apology or did anything to rectify the situation. Furthermore, you added fuel to the fire by ridiculing what I said and said " I love F bombs and will use them again." I challenge you to continue to use these words. There is enough negativity in society, we do not NEED more from Cane Rosso or their marketing dept. To the owner, I have no desire to have anyone fired. I am simply stating that you should have people that improve your brand not hurt it. I am surprised however, as one can clearly read from the owner he is super defensive and offered no apology. Just sarcasm and more ridicule. Similar to the marketing manager. This all makes sense now. I have been dining here for years and bring many friends to dine here when they come in town. Sadly, I will no longer be coming to any of these restaurants. A simple apology goes a long way. I had many back and forth conversations with the marketing manager and he/she made no effort to smooth things over.
I posted a screenshot so people can...
