Sid Mashburn — Local services in Dallas

I have long admired the Sid Mashburn aesthetic and ability to offer Levi's jeans next to a beautifully tailored garment. It is this careful attention to detail and sensibility that sets them apart. I learned of the new Dallas location opening through their Instagram account (well-played) and promptly made plans for my wife and our son to make the 40 minute drive to the store on Saturday. The design of the store is bright and simple and allows you to focus on the textures and colors of the clothing. They offer just the right amount of product to overwhelm you with quality and not quantity. We were immediately greeted and offered a drink and checked up on several times. You would be well served to commit a few of your hard earned dollars to this small southern retailer. If you need Levi's, canvas sneakers or a Timex watch you couldn't find a nicer atmosphere to purchase it. This is one of my favorite stores, and I'm well overdue to leave this review. Their in-house tailor, Jorge, is a gem. His skill at his craft lends confidence to every purchase, because I know if something I buy ends up feeling slightly off somewhere in the fit, whether it be in-store or after 6 months of wearing some pants and realizing that 'yes, these could stand to be shorter on the pant leg', I know I can bring it in and his expert touch will make it right.

Sid has a discerning eye for quality and craftsmanship. The clothes you buy here require care because of the care that was put into making them, and that care is rewarded with a comfort in fit and material that made me wish I never bought anything fast fashion. Phenomenal store to get fitted at for a suit to last you the rest of your life, the best materials all made in Italy. Not sure who exactly Sid Mashburn is, but from the experience I had there I don’t think I’d ever go anywhere else for a suit again. I was buying a suit for a wedding, Roger walked me through all the options, and made me feel like I was the only customer who was in the store and the only one who was going to be there for the rest of the day. Absolutely no rush or pushiness, he took all the time needed, even with the fine details. You don’t get that experience even at a lot of the higher end suit stores nowadays.
