This location is not it. I come to this location once in a while, only when I am in town. The last visit I had with this particular store location was incredibly unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I'm guessing he's the manager of the day but it was this employee: short white guy, long hair, and stacked with chains. I came in hoping to buy some figurines during the slowest time of the day, so it was pretty much empty.
During my shopping experience in this location, he was staring at me the entire time I was in the store. Yes, there were other employees in the store keeping an eye but they were chill. The rest of the employees would be rotating once in a while and keeping an eye on me and that is fine because they are not bothering me much. I'm still allowed to have a free and unbothered shopping experience.
But this guy kept staring deeply at me like I was not welcomed here. It was not out of curiosity, no one on a daily basis would stare at a customer intimidatingly. It is just rude and unwelcomed behavior by this particular staff member. I ended up buying a few gifts but I will not be coming to this location anymore. As I was making my way out the door, the guy would be staring until I fully stepped out of the store.
I felt very unwelcomed and this is not how staff should be treating potential customers. This is very rude and unnecessary behavior. I will most definitely not be coming back to this location until this issue...
Read moreSuch a friendly and welcoming staff! I came in randomly to find a cute comfort stuffed animal for my mom while we grieve my father's ascent to heaven/the afterlife. I wanted something sunny and happy-looking while also huggable. The guy with the cool haircut with the shaved sides showed me several great and cute options and helped me find the exact type of toy I was looking for. I appreciate his patience and empathy while we toy hunted. I will definitely be back for the great customer service and their extensive Pusheen...
Read moreYou guys have the worst workers ever and don't actually have any knowledge on figurines. Overpriced, annoying salesmen workers, etc. Pretty sure that guy may have been fired, I don't see him anymore. Either way yall overprice your figurines by $20-$50. Better shop at Japantown or online/straight from Japan! Even with express shipping it's cheaper than buying it here.
Btw they...
